MARQUISE PASTISSERIE CHOCOLATERIE, BANGSAR SHOPPING CENTRE

July 24, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

Marquise has been open in Bangsar Shopping Centre for quite sometime. Located at the back corner on the ground floor, Marquise displays beautiful cakes, an assortment of artisan chocolates, cookies and cakes. I spotted the shop with the beautiful custom make cakes which attract my attention but they do have a large variety of chocolate in their menu too. The outlet has a cosy and elegant ambiance which captured my attention and they have a romantic as well as beautiful atmosphere too.

Only the finest and of the best quality Belgian cocoa make is made here. Marquise do specialize on their chocolates where they have the hocolate truffles, chocolate bars, signature cakes, gourmet pastries and designer cakes as well.Dark Chocolate with Hazelnut & Almond Nibs is one of favorite chocolates in Marquise. The chocolate is not too sweet but just a slight bitter and the chocolates are covering the hazelnutas and almond nibs with it. It is just perfect with the crunchy munch. The choices of white or dark chocolates is available.
Price: RM 27.00/100 g

Next, we sampled their The Black Nougat with Hazelnut where it gives the crunchy bites with the tiny hazelnuts coated over it. The bites of it brings the creaminess of the milky chocolate flavour which is just perfect.
Price:RM 27.00/ 100g

For green tea lover, perhaps you would fall in love with their -Green Tea Roche which it has the perfect combination of green tea and chocolate. Between it, there is also soft crunchy nuts with it which is just a perfect match and compliments to each other too.
Price: RM 27.00/100 g

Hazelnut Praline Swirl is one of my favorite too. The creamy smooth vanilla taste with the chocolate flavours is just perfect. Not too sweet and filled with the creamy chocolate in it is sinfully delicious and tempting.

Besides the delicious Belgium Chocolate, they do serves cakes as well. The Forêt Noir is simply perfect. I love the fresh dark berries and layered chocolate sponge is simply perfect. Chocolate mousse and whole cherries sandwiched between layers of chocolate sponge coated every inch with Belgian chocolate shavings.Perfecto and every mouthful of the cake is sinfully delicious.

The Chocolate Ivory is something soecuak where the savory delights is served wih the creamy chocolate mousse with the dark chocolate and it is topped with the piece of dark chocolate is just superb.

Oreo lovers would not be disappointed with their Oreo Cheesecake where the crushed Oreo is top on top with the tastyy cream cheese and the biscuit base. Decorated with a chocolate on top, the cake is simply savory and taking much space in my tummy too as it is simply rich.
Price: RM 11.80

Banana Strussel is equally delicious too with the great fresh filling with the sweet taste in it.
Price: RM 9.90

The attraction of the night will be the Hazelnut Royaltine where the cake is being topped with the chuncky huge hazelnuts and the cake is filled with the richness of the chocolate cakes. Each mouthful is heavenly and also crunchy as well.

The Red Velvet Cake served with in bright red and the cake is very moist and delicious. Topped with macaroons as well as a sliced of chocolate above is simply good.

Not only that, Marquise do serves a variety of smoothis, coffee blended and many more with an affordable price – from RM 13.80 .

You can also have some little sweetie things purchased in Marquise itself. They have beautiful designer cakes which had already tempt my heart.
