Dive Into the Thrill at Slide the Curve This September

August 22, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

This September, brace yourself for a game-changing experience as the Curve celebrates its monumental 20th Anniversary with a jaw-dropping, one-of-a-kind event that is set to make waves across Malaysia. Introducing ‘Slide the Curve’ – a unique attraction that promises to captivate thrill-seekers, families, and fun-lovers alike. This will be a groundbreaking moment as the Curve unveils Malaysia’s FIRST water slide within a shopping mall, right in the vibrant heart of Mutiara Damansara.

From 3rd to 22nd September 2024, the Curve will be transformed into an exhilarating playground, blending the thrill of a massive slip-n-slide with the urban flair of a bustling mall. Over the course of 20 action-packed days, the Curve will pulse with energy, joy and community spirit, marking the pinnacle of its grand anniversary celebrations.

This landmark event, perfectly timed for the school holidays, will unfold across three dynamic weekends, ensuring families and thrill-seekers alike can dive into the fun from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm daily. With over 10,000 expected participants, Slide the Curve is set to become the ultimate destination for an action-packed September.

Embracing its September theme, ‘Sun-Kissed Adventures’, this inclusive, all-encompassing event will showcase a dazzling array of activities designed to entertain guests of all ages. Whether you’re a child, a teenager, or simply a kid at heart, there’s something fun for everyone. From exhilarating slide rides to a variety of interactive programs, the event promises endless enjoyment. Adding to the excitement, a weekend DJ will be spinning tunes, adding a star-studded flair that will elevate the celebration to new heights.

“We are beyond thrilled to celebrate our 20th Anniversary with such a revolutionary event,” said Encik Jazmi Kamarudin, Chief Operations Officer of Boustead Properties Berhad. “What sets Slide the Curve apart is not just our commitment to innovation and fun, but also our dedication to bringing the community together in a memorable way.”

“Since opening its doors two decades ago, the Curve has been more than just a retail destination; it has been a vibrant centre of community life and connection. From the very beginning, the visionary mall has set the benchmark beyond ‘round-the-block’ shopping mall experiences,” he added.

To elevate the excitement of the event, the Curve has partnered with top entertainment and lifestyle brands to provide exclusive offers tailored to every visitor. Families can take advantage of the school holiday season with special promotion codes, unlocking exciting experiences at SpyGame and Hauntu – all available at discounted rates for endless thrills and fun.

In addition, wristband holders for Slide the Curve can unlock exclusive shopping deals and promotions at participating outlets within the Curve, creating the perfect opportunity to blend excitement and shopping into one seamless experience. For those seeking a memorable getaway, Hotel Royale Chulan offers a staycation package that is complete with a Slide the Curve promo code, offering the perfect weekend retreat.

To ensure that everyone has a chance to be part of this unique experience, the Curve will host its 20th Anniversary Lucky Draw. Shoppers who spend a minimum of RM500 in up to two receipts will be eligible to enter the grand lucky draw, with a chance to win prizes worth up to RM150,000, including a car. Additionally, those who spend RM250 or more can redeem limited-edition merchandise in celebration of the Curve’s 20th anniversary.

This exciting initiative adds an extra layer of anticipation and excitement to the event, giving shoppers even more reason to visit the Curve and participate in the festivities. With so much on offer, Slide the Curve is poised to be one of the most talked-about events in Malaysia.
