Astaka Selera Impian Ramadhan Buffet @ Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur

 As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur, is set to enchant diners with a symphonic feast that celebrates the essence of Malaysia while embracing Middle Eastern flavors. Under the theme of Astaka Selera Impian, guests are invited on a culinary journey that promises to tantalize the taste buds and evoke the spirit of Ramadan.

From March 11 to April 9, 2024, diners will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a culinary extravaganza at Mandarin Oriental’s Mosaic and Diamond Ballroom. The buffet showcases the rich tapestry of Malaysian cuisine, featuring signature dishes like Udang Galah Lemak Asam Nenas, Siput Sedut Lemak Kuning, and Puyuh Goreng Berempah Bonda. These dishes, brimming with aromatic herbs and vibrant spices, offer a true taste of Malaysia’s culinary heritage.

In addition to Malaysian favorites, guests can indulge in Middle Eastern delights meticulously crafted to complement the Ramadan experience. The live carving station presents succulent grilled lamb and kebabs seasoned with authentic Middle Eastern spices, adding a delightful fusion twist to the feast.

Not just that, one can enjoy the wide choices of kerabus, together with the acar and sambal too.

The buffet spread does not stop there, you can also enjoy the delicious and tempting bowl of their noodles from their buffet spread too. The spread is amazingly delicious.

After a heavy meal, don’t miss out the wide variety of fruits and desserts too. The variety includes fruits,kuih muih, and petite cakes.

The Astaka Selera Impian buffet is not just a culinary event; it’s a feast for the senses. At the Diamond Ballroom, guests are transported to a Middle Eastern-style pavilion adorned with lanterns and chandeliers, casting a warm golden glow reminiscent of Ramadan evenings. The elegant ambiance is further enhanced by the soft melodies of a traditional percussion band, creating an enchanting atmosphere for guests to savor every moment of their dining experience.

The Astaka Selera Impian buffet runs from March 11 to April 9, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM daily. Priced at RM298 nett per adult, it offers an extensive array of culinary delights that cater to every palate. Children aged 6 to 11 can enjoy the buffet for RM168, while children aged 5 and below dine for free, making it a perfect dining destination for families looking to celebrate Ramadan together.
