Incolonial @ Intermark : Halal Dim Sum & Chinese Cuisine

October 20, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

In Colonial Restaurant is an extraordinary experience to be cherished. Located in The Intermark, Incolonial is a place worth the visit for their food. As the name elusively indicates, the hallmark of exquisite modern Chinese cuisine is tastefully merged with the cultural refinements of an English colonial atmosphere.

As a result, the forgotten traditions of a bygone era are brought back to life and they now complement an avant-garde menu of contemporary culinary creations. As for the menu, their menu comes pretty extensive where one can have the ala-carte dishes, dim sum and more.

Starting off with their dim sum, Incolonial brings you a wide variety of choices of Halal Dim Sum which is worth ordering. One can enjoy the dim sum which is specially curated by their dim sum chef.

Siew Mai

We started off with their siew mai which is really good. Each bite of siew mai is packed with generous ingredients and prawns in it. They are superbly delicious!

Asides, the BBQ Chicken Bao is really good too. The bao comes with aromatic flavours with chunky chicken meat in it. Awesomely good.

Asides we also tried the Prawn Rolled in Bean with Curd Skin which is a decently delight and homey taste to it

Asides from Steamed dim sum, Incolonial do offer fried dim sum in their selection too. The Fried Dim Sum Choices include the Fried Prawn Dumplings, Cheezy Spring Roll, BBQ Chicken Pastry and the Crispy Duck Pancake. The Fried Dim Sum is uniquely good, especially the Cheezy Roll and the Fried Prawn Dumpling.

Signature Fish Fillet Pot (RM 66)

The Signature Fish Pot completes with the aromatic flavours and the spiciness in it. The grouper fish which is used in it is so nice and good and making the dish to another level. The Fishpot is superbly good and I love how it is done.

Prawn in Buttermilk Sauce

The huge prawns are so good and it is super fresh. The meat is so juicy and it makes it to our favourite. The prawns come simply fresh and it pulpy meat is so good that no one can resist. Paired with buttermilk sauce

Steamed Hokkaido Scallop with Minced Garlic

(RM 20 per pcs, minimum 2 pcs)

A dish that one will love. The huge Hokkaido scallop are beautifully steamed to perfection. The Scallop is so juicy and each mouthful is divinely good.

Hong Kong Beef Noodle

The Hong Kong Beef Noodle is amazingly good as they are packed with flavours and aromatic.

Cantonese Yee Mee Seafood

The Cantonese Yee Mee Seafood is so good and I love the texture of yee mee. They are topped with generous seafood with it.

Kam Heong Fried Rice

We love the Kam Heong Fried Rice. We love the aromatic flavours of the kam heong is perfectly infused in the fried rice.

After a heavy meal, we end with some sweet bites. Pretty good and soothing love the flavours.
