SPRING HAS SPRUNG AT PAVILION KL’S TOKYO STREET WITH HARU MATSURI

 Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s iconic, award-winning precinct, Tokyo  Street, welcomes the season with Haru Matsuri. A beautiful celebration of spring, Haru Matsuri from  now until 1 May presents iconic sakura and photo opportunities, a sakura exhibition from Japan, popups, workshops and activities,  shopper rewards and of course, plenty of sakura-inspired shopping! 

Shoppers are invited to test their coordination and  speed skills by catching as many sakura petals as  possible in this wind chamber. The more you catch,  the more you win. Score one (1) entry when you  spend RM50 in a single receipt at Tokyo Street and  win sakura merchandise from now until 30 April.

SAKURA EXHIBITION

The Sakura Exhibition was originally a contest for Japanese artists in 2009 in Tokyo, with the purpose  of introducing Japanese illustrations to the world. Here, shoppers can admire exclusive Sakura  illustrations inspired by Japanese comics, anime and games created by over 60 Japanese Illustrators  and artists. This international exhibition has toured the world and is now in Malaysia in Tokyo Street!

JAPANESE ANIME POP-UP: TOY GARDEN ANIME CITY

Marvel at the series of animation characters currently on show, including Demon Slayer and One Piece  ranging from RM80 to RM300. Snap a photo with life-sized Roronoa Zoro and Portgas D. Ace and  explore more than 100 anime figures at Anime City Roadshow by Toy Garden at Tokyo Street, Level 6.

CULTURAL WORKSHOPS & ACTIVITIES

 

Enhance your experience this Haru Matsuri by taking part in exciting workshops to learn something  new! Create your phone cover masterpieces at the Art Workshop by Bling Bling Paradise (9, 16, 23,  30 April from 1:00pm – 2:00pm), or personalize your own spring hairclips at the Kanzashi Hair Clip  Workshop by Kuma Yukata (10, 17, 24 April from 1:00pm – 3:00pm).
