CHINESE NEW YEAR IN CHINATOWN, KUALA LUMPUR

Chinese New Year is the most anticipated festival of the Chinese calendar,  a time to reconnect with family and loved ones and to share precious moments together. Inspired by our local area and flavors of Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown, Chef De Cuisine – Chef Lim Jun Pin and his culinary  team unveil Quan’s Kitchen‘s Lunar New Year menu that emphasizes on traditional street fare and local  favorites. 
Yee Sang is one of the traditional dishes of the Chinese New Year and it implies the goodwill of family  reunion and wealth in the New Year. This year, Quan’s Kitchen makes a special tribute to local street  vendors housed in Jalan Panggung of Jalan Petaling by presenting our Prosperity Golden Yee Sang priced at RM98+ (half portion for 5 persons) and RM158+ (full portion for 10 persons), featuring Jalan  Petaling style dried BBQ Cuttlefish, Chili Soft Shell Crab, Crispy Fish Skin and Golden Pineapple Sauce. 
Or go lux with our Premium Prosperity Golden Yee Sang plated on intricately designed CNY 2022 Peony  Platter by Maya Singh of Cult Cowboy at RM298+ (full portion for 10 persons). 
Continue the celebration with the Spring Happiness Set Menu, an 8-course sumptuous fare that includes  the Prosperity Golden Yee Sang, a nourishing Double Boiled Wild Mushroom Soup, Baked Ocean Seabass  with Cordyceps in Honey Soy Glaze and Braised Broccoli with Taukan & Gingko Nut in Abalone Sauce.  
Available from 10 January to 10 February with 2 days advance booking for RM 688+ per set for 4 persons.  Additional person is at RM188+ per person.
Send wishes of good fortune with our auspicious 福 Fu Hamper by Lady Yi’s Tea House; a spin on the  Tray of Togetherness containing 8 sweet blessings such as Lady Yi’s ‘11 Treasures’ Tea Bag, Bird’s Nest  Baijiu And Whisky Cocktail, Pineapple Tarts, Almond Florentine, Osmanthus Victoria Cake, Peanut Candy,  ‘Fú’ Mandarin & Pandan Chocolate Praline and Roasted Nuts at RM168+ per set.

Indulge  in delicious savouries such as Smoked Salmon, Roasted Duck, Tea Egg, Beef Shank and BBQ Chicken while sipping on Lady Yi’s Signature 11 Treasure Tea and for that sweet treat, nibble on dessert such as  Osmanthus Cake, Madeleines, Coconut Sphere, Strawberry Tart, Mango Mousse and Nestum Plain  Scones. No Chinese New Year would be complete without a drink or two. Kuala Lumpur’s famed cocktail bar; Jann  will be featuring its earthy Bird’s Nest Baijiu and Whisky cocktail brewed with chrysanthemum tea, red  dates and white fungus.
