360 Hong Kong Moments

March 15, 2021 by StrawberrY Gal

It has been a long time since I had visited Hong Kong. In due with Covic, we could not able to grab our flight back to Hong Kong. With the  “360 Hong Kong Moments” is a global initiative launched by the Hong Kong Tourism Board to remind the world of Hong Kong as a leading travel destination. The campaign saw the launch of a series of virtual-reality (VR) experiences aimed at shining the spotlight on the city’s renewed vibrancy and enthusiasm.

The “360 Hong Kong Moments” VR videos takes viewers on an all-encompassing adventure across Hong Kong, immersing viewers in the rhythm and sensations of the city one has never experience before. From feeling the wind in your hair on the Ding Ding Tram to traversing between the urban jungle and the natural wonders of Hong Kong.  The Ding Ding Tram which is over 100 years old in the city regain me a lot of memories when we are in Hong Kong and looking around the vibrant city that never sleep. It is also remains me loads of TVB drama where we watched before.

Each video is crafted to conjure a specific emotion, memory or experience of Hong Kong; especially for viewers who miss the city and for travellers who has never been to Hong Kong and are curious about the magnificent city.

And this time, we get to know more of the insides of the city itself from the Urban Jungle featuring the Quarry Bay. Quarry Bay is an area beneath Mount Parker in the Eastern District of Hong Kong Island. The western portion of the area was also formerly known as Lai Chi. Traditionally being an industrial and residential area, the number of commercial buildings in this district has increased over the past two decades. Perhaps none of the building is more famous in the area than the Monster Building

Asides from the Urban Jungle, Hong Kong is popular with their food which includes roasted goose, and dim sum as well. You must not missed all the wholesome delighting food from Hong Kong where you can savour the Roast Goose from Kam Tou and many more.

During the launch of “My Hong Kong My Way”; watch the famous foodie Michelle Loo together with Jenn Chia and Vernice Min in their trip in Hong Kong. We also get to preview loads of different things where you can venture Cantonese Opera with Vernice Min as well as making your own unique handbags too.

The journey continues with Jenn Chia where you can watch how she become the god of gambler in Hong Kong too.

Asides from that, with the 360 moments in Hong Kong, explore the beauty of Hong Kong with the vibrant lighting in the city itself, or even the beautiful view of the Victoria Harbour and more.

From amazing hiking and cycling trails to stunning Geopark, rich and varied flora and fauna to magnificent beach views; it is amazing to find unspoiled nature and busy urban life in such close proximity. What is your favourite green spaces in Hong Kong?
