Celebrate This Mid-Autumn Festival with Exquisite Mooncakes from Li Yen

August 13, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

This Mid-Autumn festival, Li Yen at The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur presents a curated selection of traditional baked and snow skin mooncakes, specially designed by Dim Sum Chef Tan Tiong Guan who continues to honour and preserve this treasured tradition through artistically crafted mooncakes.

Celebrate this occasion with family and friends as the collection of signature classics makes its anticipated return, including the Moët & Chandon Champagne Snow Skin series with the exclusive Mini Snow Skin Moët & Chandon Champagne Mooncake and Mini Snow Skin Moët & Chandon Rosé Imperial Champagne Mooncake. The champagne brings an elegant and distinctive aroma into the fine snow skin, making each mooncake memorable for the palate.

Making a comeback this year due to its popular demand is the Mini Snow Skin Cream Cheese with Port Wine Mooncake – a delicate snow skin flavoured with the rich and sweet port wine, encases a silky cream cheese centre making it a truly decadent treat.

The traditional baked mooncakes which are also popular with guests include a collection of flavours to choose from such as White Lotus Paste with Double Egg Yolk, Red Bean Paste, Lotus Paste with Single Egg Yolk and the savoury Li Yen Kam Tui, filled with delicious nuts and Chinese ham.

A box of four baked mooncakes is priced from MYR112 nett, while a box of eight mini mooncakes is priced from MYR128 nett. These delectable mooncakes can also be purchased individually and are priced from MYR16 nett per piece. The mooncakes are available for pre-order and will be available for purchase from 15 August through 1 October. These mooncakes are also available for guests to gift to others or dine at home through Li Yen’s delivery service.

Located on the second floor, Li Yen is also open for dine-in daily for lunch and dinner, providing guests an intimate ambience that embraces Chinoiserie design and elegant service. Seven stylish private dining rooms are also available for those looking to dine in private.

For restaurant reservations, delivery and takeaway orders and enquiries, please WhatsApp +60 18-646 8033, WeChat LiYenKL or email [email protected].
