Uncle Joe’s Kopitiam @ Cheras

December 18, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Uncle Joe’s Kopitiam is one of the cozy outlet to enjoy great local fares. Located at the busy space of Yulek, Uncle Joe’s Kopitiam brings you with the wide variety of local delights which will not burn your pocket for sure.

The kopitiam does not have much fancy design  as Uncle Joe would love to keep the design as simple as it can but bringing you with their good food. Mr Joe’s who is the man behind the kopitiam is to bring back his childhood memories to the shop itself. Being a foodie himself, he loves to cook and he had gotten the recipes from his families and he is still using the traditional way to make each of his dish.

Chicken Rice

Their chicken rice is one of my favourite chicken rice for sure. The chicken rice is well poached by using the traditional technique. And with this, you can enjoy the juicy meat chicken rice together with their home blend ginger and chilly. That’s so good and we ordered another plate after tasting the first one.

Curry Noodles  ( RM 8.90)

For fans of curry, do try their curry noodles, you can now enjoy the creamy and light spiciness curry noodles here. The noodles comes with the aromatic blend of herbs and spices. Topped with the cut of chicken, taobok, long beans and cockles.

Nasi Lemak Rendang Chicken (RM 9.50)

The Nasi Lemak Ayam Rendang comes with the fluffy fragrant rice together with the ayam rendang. The rendang is cooked with the spices and herbs and added with the chicken in it. Cooked till perfection, one can have them with the generous potion of ikan bilis and peanuts at the side with some chopped long beans, and egg with it. What makes it better is where their rice is cooked with blue pea flower bringing you with not just some colour but a healthy blend too.

Wat Tan Hor (RM 9.90)

In here, one can enjoy their wat tan hor either with seafood or beef.  It is one of the classic dish that many love where their wat tan hor is served with the delicious egg gravy. Yummz!

Toast Bun ( 2 pcs) ( RM 4)

For light eater or want to have some nibbles, you can opt to enjoy some toast bun. The toast bread comes fluffy and topped with their homemade kaya and butter.

Ipoh White Coffee

Visiting Uncle Joe’s Kopitiam is a must to enjoy a cup of silky and aromatic cup of the famous Ipoh White Coffee. Using one of th6ye pioneer Ipoh white Coffee- Chang Jiang, you are assured that each sip of coffee is completed with the smoothness and yet the aromatic coffee blend in it.

For those who are looking for some comfort dining of local delicacies, Uncle Joe’s would be one of the places to dine.
