Introducing the new COMO Shambhala Retreat at COMO Uma Canggu, Bali

August 21, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

COMO Shambhala Retreat at COMO Uma Canggu in Bali is a wellness centre with all the facilities, therapies and experts needed for everything from a total wellness overhaul to total relaxation, gentle invigoration, or fitness maintenance. A combination of our yoga and Pilates classes, COMO Shambhala treatments, Wellness Gym, resident specialists and teachers ensures that focus is given to both mind and body, with carefully administered techniques ensuring maximum efficacy and an overall holistic wellness experience.

Guests can start their day with a range of our studio activities featuring various yoga styles, Pilates and meditation classes. These include the popular slower-paced Yin Yoga for those who enjoy their asanas to a vigorous and challenging flow-sequenced Rocket Yoga.  Our Pilates Reformer classes, as well as the small-group TRX sessions are designed to achieve improved posture, strength and efficiency of movement.  COMO Shambhala teaches across all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners who want to deepen their skill and understanding.

Classes vary from week to week and are reflected on the Daily Activity Schedule available to in-house guests. A typical day on the Activities Schedule might include intermediate Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Yoga and Meditation and TRX in the mornings and Yoga Fit, HIIT and Sunset yoga in the afternoons and evenings.

Guests can also utlise our light and airy COMO Shambhala Wellness Gym. This modern 2,700sq ft space features a comprehensive range of Life Fitness exercise machines, as well as TRX suspension training, CrossFit stations and a personal trainer available for private sessions. The gym facilities also includes shower and steam rooms, robes, slippers and COMO Shambhala amenities for freshening-up after a workout.

Alongside the fitness specialisms of COMO Shambhala Retreat are our award-winning wellness treatments intended to nourish the mind as well as the body, using a combination of leading-edge science and traditional knowledge. These include an energising COMO Shambhala Bath, designed to refresh the skin through exfoliation, and an invigorating Taksu Massage, using transference of energy to increase blood circulation and relieve stress.

COMO Shambhala Retreat classes, gym facilities and treatments are available to our COMO Uma Canggu hotel guests.  For non-hotel guests, we also offer attractive gym memberships, classes and treatment packages.
