Organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), the Sun Hung Kai Properties Hong Kong Cyclothon was held on 25 September with keen participation by over 4,600 local and international cyclists. The HKTB appreciates the generous support locals, visitors, sponsors, and government organisations have shown for the event. And it would not have been such a success without the enthusiastic participation of cyclists from around the world and the commitment from over 1,000 volunteers.

The mega road-cycling event featured nine categories. The highlight race of the day – the International Criterium – was won by Slovenian cyclist Matej Mohoric from Lampre – Merida. German cyclist Dohling Bastian was the winner of the Men’s Open, and French cyclist Sandra DOS SANTOS came first in the Women’s Open.
To make the event more meaningful, the title and charity sponsor, Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP), has kindly contributed an additional donation to benefit four charities: the J Life Foundation, The Boys’ & Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, and The Community Chest.
