RESTAURANT JIN XUAN DIM SUM,( 锦选香港特极点心),DAMANSARA JAYA

September 14, 2011 by StrawberrY Gal

The restaurant is nicely renovated with half open and half air conditioned. The restaurant is very packed and we need to get numbers to be wait to be sitted. After about 10 minutes wait, we finally had our seat.

We ordered some of the dim sum.

Thousand year egg & pork congee is as normal with the ingridients below the congee but taste wise is not really smooth
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 4.00

Siew mai is slightly meaty and the taste is moderate only.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 4.50

Ha kao is not my favorite as the skin is thick and not really nice.
Taste: 1/5
Price: RM 4.50

Prawn salad is slightly cold and oily. The mayonise is also not really a good match with the prawn salad.
Taste: 1/5
Price: RM 4.50

Egg tart is not crunchy as well. The egg tart looks nice but once a bite is dry and non cruncy.
Taste: 1/5
Price: RM 3.00

Sharkfin dumpling is so so in taste and it is also meety as well. Not our favorite
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 3.00

Among all, I love the siew pau only. The texture is kinda good with lots of char siew inside and served hot
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 3.60
