COLOURFUL DEEPAVALI CELEBRATION AT BERJAYA WATERFRONT HOTEL

Deepavali also known as Diwali or Festival of Lights is a wonderful festive time celebrated by Indian people all over the world. The Indian Festival of Lights symbolizing victory of good over evil is the perfect occasion to indulge in traditional Indian cuisine prepared by the team of culturally diverse chefs.

Come and feast on delectable meal at Salt ‘n’’ Pepper Café Restaurant, level 5 in the afternoon of Deepavali Day ( 10 November 2015 ). Celebrate the festival of lights by indulging in a sumptuous feast of authentic Indian cuisine and other local and international delights. Our chefs will be cooking up an excitingly delicious spread of specially selected dishes which will leave you satisfied. The Deepavali Buffet Hi-tea is priced at RM 52.00 for adult and RM 26.00 for children. The tempting buffet Hi-tea is available from 12.00 pm till 4.00 pm on the same day.

Deepavali celebration would not be complete without a Kolam. Kolam is a form of painting that is drawn using rice and thought to bring prosperity to home. It is a sign of invitation to welcome all in the house, not the least of whom is Lakshmi the Goddess of prosperity and wealth. The colorful Kolam measured at 20 ft diameter took 2 weeks to complete by 3 creative staff. The Kolam is drawn using 150 kg crushed rice dyed in vibrant colors with theme of ‘Joyful Deepavali’ signifying glory, immortality and loyalty.
