Avenue of Stars (星光大道) is a place to visit in Hong Kong. The Avenue of Stars which is located at the TsimShaTsui Promenade was given a glittering official opening on 27 April 2004. It was opened to the public and visitors from all over the world from 28 April 2004 onwards. It honours celebrities of the Hong Kong film industry.

The Avenue of Stars is the eastern node of several tourist attractions along the TsimShaTsui waterfront. In addition to the promenade and New World Centre, a number of attractions exist including the Museum of Art, Space Museum, Cultural Centre and the Clock Tower.

Entering from Salisbury Garden, a 4.5-metre-tall replica of the statuette given to winners at the Hong Kong Film Awards greets visitors. Along the 440 metre promenade, the story of Hong Kong’s one hundred years of cinematic history is told through inscriptions printed on nine red pillars.

During our walk there, it is pretty impressive where you can see the hand prints of the stars like Jet Li, Andy Lau, Jacky Cheung, Aaron Kwok, Louis Koo, and more. Get your pictures with your idol hand at there and you can have the great enjoyment taking pictures with it.
Walking all the way, they had made the director chair style, and more little statues for visitor to take the picture with.

The most impressive one will be the Bruce Lee statue which you need to line up and get a picture of its handsome statue there.

Be there at 8 pm, and grab your view of the Symphony of Lights where you can see the colors of lights from both side shooting up the sky creating a beautiful scenic atmosphere. The 10 minutes shows of lights are impressively beautiful and witness the colors of the buildings changes according to the music. It is indeed promising an unforgettable multimedia experience.
