Plant & Palate—A Vegetarian Brunch : A Monthly Ode to Plant-Forward Indulgence

September 24, 2025 by StrawberrY Gal

In the storied halls of Michelin-selected The Brasserie, where St. Regis refinement meets gastronomic artistry, a new chapter begins. Plant & Palate reimagines our celebrated Sunday Brunch through the lens of sustainability and a plant-forward composition. Commencing on the first Saturday every month where every bite tells the story of responsible sourcing and culinary ingenuity.

With Executive Chef Azizi Taslim at the helm, this experience speaks to the evolving desires of the modern diner reflecting a commitment to healthier living and greater inclusivity in the city’s fine dining scene. It is this vision that positions The Brasserie at Kuala Lumpur’s Best Address as a destination for both the epicure and the wellness-minded guests.

Anchored in the “Local Harvest, Exquisite Flavors” ethos, Plant & Palate is brought to life in collaboration with Malaysia’s own BoomGrow and D’Artisan Cheese, both pioneers in sustainable cultivation and artisanal mastery. BoomGrow, an innovator in precision farming, grows nutrient-rich greens in a data-driven indoor environment that ensures optimal flavor, freshness, and sustainability—all year round. Indulge in Ulam Raja, cultivated exclusively by BoomGrow for The Brasserie, and witness D’Artisan Cheese’s imaginative craftsmanship, where ingredients once overlooked are reborn as exquisite, sustainable cheeses.

Every corner of the menu holds discovery—the freshness in motion of the Salad on Wheels, the intricate layering of the reimagined signature Celeriac Pithivier served tableside, and the tactile elegance of garnishing the plate with Ulam Raja for an exquisite final touch, a moment where guest and chef meet in creative harmony. Pairings of botanical infusions and premium non-alcoholic blends echo the season and the spirit of the dishes, creating a dining arc that feels both indulgent and restorative.

Lingering beyond the main courses reveals semi-buffet options, a curated gallery of flavor. From the Seaweed Bar with ribbons of kelp and sea lettuce glisten with ocean-kissed freshness to The Vegetable Terrine, presenting vibrant layers, each a chapter in the story of the harvest, every creation reflects our devotion to whole-ingredient artistry and the beauty of conscious dining.

More than a dining experience, Plant & Palate is a tribute to conscious craftsmanship. Guests are invited to discover a culinary chapter that honors nature, celebrates artisanship, and reimagines luxury through the lens of wellness—only at The Brasserie, The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur.
