SAVOR CULINARY DELIGHTS TO RING IN THE NEW YEAR

Under the guidance of Chef Tan Kim Weng, YEN blends authentic flavors with a contemporary flair, delivering a state-of-the-art take on traditional Chinese New Year fare.

Chef Weng’s expertise shines through an array of signature dishes crafted with inventive sustainable techniques such as the Roasted Chicken with Lin Seed, Wok-Fried Beetroot Rice with Prawns and Crab Meat enhanced with crispy rock rice for added texture and Steamed Tiger Grouper fish with succulent clams, sweet basil in authentic Teo Chew Style all delicately steamed to preserve natural flavors.

The spirit of togetherness comes alive with exquisitely prepared Reunion Set Menus, ensuring an intimate gathering filled with gastronomic delights, which includes:

●        Treasured Flavour RM208+ per person (minimum 2 persons, available for lunch only).

●        Prosperous Life Forever: RM318+ per person (minimum 4 persons, not available for Chinese New Year Eve dinner).

●        The Noble: RM368+ per person (minimum 4 persons).

●        Double Happiness: RM488+ per person (minimum 2 persons).

For larger celebrations, these family-style menus deliver a feast to remember:

●        Lucky 8 Reunion RM1,488+ (5 persons) / RM2,888+ (10 persons).

●        LoHei Feast RM1,888+ (5 persons) / RM3,688+ (10 persons).

●        Firecracker Feast RM2,288+ (5 persons) / RM4,488+ (10 persons).

YEN is also extending its offerings to the hotel’s iconic Great Room, presenting a grand dining menu. Guests can enjoy an expansive selection of dishes, from Norwegian Salmon Fish Yee Sang to Wok-Fried Prawns in Fragrant Beijing Chili Sauce, all crafted with finesse and flavor.

CHINESE CLASSICS REDEFINED, YEN REINVENTS ITSELF

Since opening its doors in 2018, YEN has become one of the most visited restaurants in the city. With its Chinese classics redefined cuisine set in an imperial ambiance with equal parts of being authentic and charming, YEN offers a balanced dining experience that is both convivial and elegant.

Upon the completion of Scales of Fortune, YEN will undergo an exciting transformation with a fresh new look of reflective nostalgia, blending the rich cultural essence of Chinese dynasty with a modern twist. The transformation will reconcile the past with the future, taking us back to the times of honoring China’s heritage. All the while incorporating modern design elements which will allow the restaurant to continue with its elevated version of classic Chinese dishes as well as to continue to fuel the imagination of diners and fans of W while segueing into a stunning transformation. .

As part of this overhaul, YEN will be closed from 16th February to 1st April 2025.
