Doko Koko: A New Anime-Themed Café in Lalaport BBCC with an Exclusive NIJISANJI EN Collaboration

December 11, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Anime enthusiasts and VTuber fans have a new reason to rejoice: Doko Koko, an anime-themed café, has officially opened its doors at Lalaport BBCC. This exciting addition to the bustling entertainment hub has already generated buzz across social media, thanks to its highly anticipated collaboration with the renowned VTuber agency NIJISANJI EN. With a cryptic teaser captioned “Hello there!” shared online, fans eagerly speculated about the offerings, and now, the wait is over. From hosting pop-up stores dedicated to popular anime like Blue Lock and Spy X Family to the spine-chilling Junji Ito Horror House exhibit in 2023, Lalaport has consistently delivered unique experiences for fans. Doko Koko continues this tradition, offering an innovative blend of fandom and gastronomy that celebrates the best of anime culture.

At Doko Koko, anime meets culinary artistry. The café’s collaboration with NIJISANJI EN brings its beloved VTuber characters to life through an imaginative menu of dishes and drinks. Each item is meticulously crafted to reflect the themes, personalities, and vibrant aesthetics associated with the popular VTuber group.

The menu at Doko Koko is a feast for the senses, combining innovative flavors with stunning presentation. Perfect for fans and foodies alike, every dish is a tribute to the creativity and charm of anime culture.

Teriyaki Love Burger (RM30)

A playful twist on a classic favorite, the Teriyaki Love Burger features tender, juicy chicken wrapped in a uniquely pink rice bun. Glazed with a sweet and savory teriyaki sauce, this dish balances flavor and fun, making it an instant crowd-pleaser.

Crimson Prawn Pasta (RM38)

This seafood delight takes center stage with perfectly al-dente squid ink pasta, paired with plump, juicy prawns. The pasta’s rich, briny notes complement the prawns’ natural sweetness, resulting in a dish that is as indulgent as it is visually striking.

Mermaid Shell-tastic Cake (RM30)

Doko Koko’s desserts are just as enchanting as its mains. The Mermaid Shell-tastic Cake combines a shell-shaped macaron with a dreamy ocean jelly cake. With creamy, cheesy layers and a design reminiscent of an undersea fantasy, this dessert is both delicious and Instagram-worthy.

The café’s drink menu features an array of playful concoctions, each crafted to add a touch of magic to your dining experience. Highlights include Starry Night Mocktail (RM16), Pomegranate Magic Elixir and many more.

Beyond the food, Doko Koko delivers an unforgettable experience steeped in anime-inspired decor and ambience. From walls adorned with colorful artwork to video screens showcasing beloved NIJISANJI EN VTubers, the café is a visual feast. The attention to detail ensures that every visitor feels transported to a whimsical anime world.

Doko Koko isn’t just a café—it’s an anime haven where fans can connect with their favorite characters and indulge in an extraordinary dining adventure. Whether you’re a die-hard VTuber fan or simply someone who enjoys themed dining, this café promises an experience that’s both fun and flavorful

Located at G Floor Lalaport ( next to Animate)
