Since its foundation 250 years ago, Veuve Clicquot has continuously spread its optimistic and solaire culture to the world. It’s iconic yellow, the colour of the sun, featured on its label since 1877, and the visionary spirit of Madame Clicquot has always remained an inspiration for Veuve Clicquot. Known as “La Grande Dame de la Champagne”, creative and daring, Madame Clicquot challenged the conventions of her time to revolutionise the world of champagne. This philosophy, rooted in the House’s DNA, goes beyond oenology, inspiring numerous collaborations over the years and elevating disposable packaging to beautiful objects that are functional and reusable. 

In 2024, the Maison introduces Road to the Sun, a celebration of the arrival of beautiful days and a new expression of its Solaire art de Vivre. Road to the Sun is an invitation to all those who want to live life to the fullest and revel in the emotions of the sun. Guided by the love of design, Maison Veuve Clicquot is proud to present its essential for life under the sun – a beautiful object perfect for the chic, effortless moments – be it a spontaneous getaway, vacation, or even a simple picnic. Sophisticated, eco-friendly, and designed for those on the go, the Clicquot Cooler offers a unique experience for moments of shared joy all year round.

The Clicquot Cooler exemplifies Veuve Clicquot’s affinity for combining aesthetics and practicality to elevate everyday objects. Chic, casual, and a must-have for picnics, this new object can easily be taken anywhere thanks to its chrome handle, keeping champagne at the optimal temperature for up to 1 hour. Made from tinplate, an infinitely recyclable material, and integrating an inner vac form made from sugarcane waste, the cooler has been designed to last, as aligned with Veuve Clicquot’s circular commitments. In a nod to Maison’s cuvées, the two-color choices – rosé or yellow – resemble the labels of its Brut and Rosé champagne bottles. It’s an object as elegant as it is essential.
