#AJapanForYou Video Contest Is Back! Win FREE Flights to Japan with JNTO KL By Sharing Japan Travel Reel on Instagram!

November 27, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

#AJapanForYou Video Contest is back by popular demand! Japan National Tourism Organization Kuala Lumpur Office (JNTO KL) is delighted to announce the third season of #AJapanForYou by offering round-trip economy FREE flight tickets (Grand Prize) for Malaysian travellers with the best Instagram reels depicting “Joyful Japan” moments! This campaign has started to accept applications until 8 January 2025, aiming to uncover the hidden gems of Japan by encouraging more people to share their favourite highlights and moments in Japan with everyone!

To apply, participants are required to create and share a 30-second to 3-minute new Instagram reel depicting Five “Joyful Moments” of their Japan travels. For those who haven’t been to Japan before may participate in this campaign as well – utilise your creativity and imagination! Within the IG reel, participants have to use on-screen text overlays or voice narration to share what kind of traveller(s) they are (e.g., “We’re seekers of bold adventures”) and describe the Five Joyful Japan moments they have chosen.

To ensure that the entry is counted as a valid submission, participants will need to fill up a Google Form on the campaign page with the link to their IG reel. Participants will also need to include the hashtags #AJapanForYou2024, #CreateMyJoyfulJapan, and #klookmy in the post caption. Lastly set their Instagram account to public before sharing their reel.

Some important criteria set by JNTO KL are to EXCLUDE any content from the major metropolitan areas: Chiba, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Kyoto, and Osaka prefectures. This is because JNTO KL would like to promote the unique hidden gems outside of these major destinations.
