Anlene Malaysia Launches “Get Active, Let’s Move” Campaign Urging Malaysians to Prioritize Bone Health and Listen to our Body

November 13, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

While many understand the importance of physical health, we often overlook early signs that our bodies give until they encounter some limitations in movement. For instance, we could wake up with unexpected stiffness in our knees or struggle to lift a bag of groceries. These could be tell-tale signs of declining mobility!

In conjunction with World Osteoporosis Day 2024, Malaysia’s No.1 Adult Milk Powder  Anlene is launching the Get Active, Let’s Move campaign, to continue its mission to empower Malaysians to pay attention to their bone, joint and muscle health, and to help them continue to move freely and enjoy life without limitations.

“There is an urgent need to raise awareness of osteoporosis among Malaysian adults. As a pioneer in advocating in bone, joint, and muscle health, Anlene’s Get Active, Let’s Move campaign reinforces the importance for Malaysians to recognize their body’s early signs and take proactive steps toward better bone and muscle health,” said Lim Siew Poh, the Marketing Director of Fonterra Brands Malaysia and Singapore.

“Anlene has remained at the forefront of advocating bone, joint, and muscle health by providing free ultrasound bone scans and muscle strength assessments through its ongoing Anlene Mobility Check. Since December 2022, we have offered valuable bone health indication to more than 50,000 Malaysians.

Our latest campaign and mobility check activities aim to assess people’s bone and muscle health status and raise awareness on early signs as well as take appropriate action to ensure they can continue to have the strength and mobility to do whatever they love every day,” she continued.

As Malaysia’s No.1 adult milk powder brand, Anlene is dedicated to advocating the freedom of movement through strong bones, joints, and muscles. Anlene™ GOLD 5X™ is scientifically formulated with key nutrients that are important to support adults’ nutritional needs. 2 glasses a day provides 100% daily requirement of calcium & vitamin D **, high protein, collagen, MFGM ActiveTM, 17 vitamins and minerals. A study  indicates that consuming 2 glasses of fortified milk daily containing important nutrients such as calcium, vitamin D, magnesium, and zinc can help reduce bone breakdown within 4 weeks. Additionally, another study  highlighted that incorporating MFGM into one’s diet, with regular exercise, can help improve muscle strength after 4 weeks.

“For those who dislike the taste of milk, Anlene GOLD 5X™ is also available in Café Latte and Dark Chocolate flavours, offering the same nutritional benefits,” said Lim.

Anlene’s commitment to bone health is further strengthened through its enduring partnership with the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF), the world’s leading professional body on bone health education and advocacy. As part of this collaboration, IOF recognizes Anlene’s products as one of the important nutritional options that effectively meets nutritional needs crucial for bone strength, while also endorsing the Anlene Mobility Check activations that provide free bone scans to the public, raising awareness of osteoporosis. Anlene’s role as a member of the IOF Committee of Corporate Advisors (CCA) places it at the forefront of strategic discussions alongside global leaders in the health and nutrition sectors, fostering collaborative efforts to enhance public understanding of bone health through campaigns, educational materials, and innovative solutions.

Anlene Mobility Check Roadshow

In partnership with AEON, Anlene is organizing the Anlene Mobility Check Roadshow throughout October and November at various AEON outlets nationwide. This roadshow offers complimentary ultrasound bone scans and muscle strength testing.

With over 50% of Malaysian adults at risk of poor bone health and 1 in 3 adults  showing signs of weak muscle strength, this campaign encourages Malaysians to take proactive steps to safeguard their long-term mobility and quality of life. Exciting promotions await, including gifts with purchase and rebate vouchers.

Don’t wait for the signs to turn into limits. Prioritize your bone, joint, and muscle health today for long-term mobility.
