The Luxury Vacation @ Solaire Resort Entertainment City

October 3, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Solaire Resort Entertainment City, located in the vibrant heart of Metro Manila, offers an unparalleled luxury experience that leaves a lasting impression from the moment you step inside. As one of the premier destinations in Entertainment City, Solaire features two iconic towers—the Sky Tower and Bay Tower—each redefining hospitality standards in the Philippines. For eight consecutive years, the Sky Tower has earned the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star Rating, a testament to its commitment to excellence and opulence.

During my recent stay at the Sky Tower, I was fortunate enough to experience the luxurious Sky Studio suite, a 65-square-meter haven of modern sophistication. As I entered, I was struck by the floor-to-ceiling windows, which allowed natural light to fill the room and offered an enchanting view of the Manila Bay sunset. The suite effortlessly blends timeless elegance with contemporary design, creating a perfect retreat.

The king-sized bed, dressed in 500-thread count linens, ensured a restful night’s sleep, while the 55-inch LED satellite TV provided ample entertainment options. The spacious work area and high-speed internet allowed for productivity, even in such luxurious surroundings.

However, it was the bathroom that truly elevated the experience—it felt like a private spa, with a rain shower, bathtub, and luxurious bath amenities. The Sky Studio suite offered the perfect balance of work and relaxation, making it an ideal escape for any traveler.

Culinary Indulgence at Fresh Restaurant

One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast at Fresh Restaurant, where a vibrant array of international dishes awaited. Expert chefs prepared a lavish buffet, featuring everything from freshly baked pastries and artisanal bread to perfectly cooked eggs and seasonal fruits. For those seeking heartier options, the rotisserie station offered mouth-watering meats, while the seafood selection showcased the finest ocean delicacies. The dessert bar was irresistible, offering an assortment of cakes and pastries that provided a sweet start to the day.

Poolside Luxury and Relaxation

At Solaire’s poolside, guests are invited to unwind in an atmosphere of relaxation and luxury. The pool, surrounded by lush tropical landscaping, offers breathtaking views of Manila Bay. Whether you’re soaking up the sun or enjoying a refreshing dip, the poolside provides a serene oasis. Signature cocktails and gourmet snacks can be enjoyed from the comfort of your lounge chair, while a warm jacuzzi invites guests to indulge in a relaxing soak, melting away stress.

For those seeking the pinnacle of luxury, the Sky Tower offers grand accommodations such as the Presidential Suite, spanning 124 square meters, and the Signature Suite, a 158-square-meter space offering stunning views of Manila Bay. These suites are perfect for intimate gatherings or unwinding after an evening at Solaire’s casino or theater.

Bay Tower: Timeless Elegance Meets Modern Luxury

While the Sky Tower exudes opulence, the Bay Tower brings its own brand of refined luxury to the table. The Premier Suite, which I had the pleasure of staying in, offered a tranquil retreat with expansive windows showcasing the Manila skyline and bay sunset. Each room in the Bay Tower is meticulously designed, featuring furnishings sourced from around the world, providing guests with a sense of serenity amidst the city’s energy.

On the third floor of the Bay Tower is the resort’s Gym and Spa, where I indulged in a world-class spa treatment. The signature massage left me feeling completely revitalized, thanks to the tranquil ambiance and expert therapists. This rejuvenating experience was the perfect way to escape reality, if only for a few hours.

The Shoppes at Solaire: A Luxury Retail Experience

No visit to Solaire is complete without a visit to The Shoppes, a high-end shopping arcade featuring renowned brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Dior. This sophisticated shopping experience offers a wide selection of luxury items, perfect for those looking to indulge in retail therapy.

On the top floor of The Shoppes, the Art Gallery Walkway offers an enriching cultural experience, displaying a curated selection of high-end artwork. Each piece tells its own story, inviting visitors to explore its themes and narratives. This gallery adds a touch of artistic sophistication to Solaire, making it a must-visit for art enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.

Culinary Masterpieces at Solaire’s Restaurants

Solaire’s dining options are nothing short of extraordinary. With 19 world-class restaurants, the resort offers a diverse culinary journey. At Yakumi, Solaire’s signature Japanese restaurant, the freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite of sashimi and sushi. The exquisite flavors and artful presentation made for an unforgettable dining experience.

Red Lantern, Solaire’s Chinese restaurant, impressed with its iconic dishes such as Peking Duck and an all-you-can-eat dim sum. For a more Western-inspired meal, Waterside offered a delightful fusion of flavors, enjoyed in a beautiful poolside setting. The variety and quality of dining options at Solaire truly cater to every taste and preference.

Solaire Resort Entertainment City is a beacon of luxury in Metro Manila. From the opulent rooms and suites in the Sky Tower and Bay Tower to the indulgent dining experiences and world-class spa, every aspect of Solaire exudes elegance and sophistication. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway, an exciting vacation, or a memorable dining experience, Solaire promises—and delivers—a world-class luxury experience.
