October 15, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Embark on an exciting gastronomic journey with Pavilion Feast, a culinary exploration that takes you through some of the most enticing dining spots in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. From hidden gems to brand-new restaurant openings, this is the perfect way to discover the global Flavors waiting to be savoured in one of Malaysia’s most iconic shopping destinations. With over a hundred dining establishments to choose from, Pavilion KL promises a feast for the senses that will delight every type of foodie.

As part of this journey, here are my top 5 restaurant picks for the  Pavilion Feast. These selections showcase a variety of cuisines, each offering a unique and memorable dining experience.

1) Siong Tong Gai

If you’re in the mood for hearty and delicious Chinese fare, Siong Tong Gai is a must-visit. Known for its delectable selection of fresh seafood and flavorful meats, the restaurant delivers a menu brimming with traditional favorites. Signature dishes like Braised Pork Knuckles and Siong Tong Lala (Clam Soup) are a testament to the robust and rich flavors of their culinary creations. Whether you’re a fan of seafood or classic Chinese comfort food, Siong Tong Gai promises to impress.

2) Semangkuk Mi Tarik Lanzhou Lamian China

For noodle lovers, Semangkuk Mi Tarik Lanzhou Lamian China is the go-to destination. This restaurant specializes in hand-pulled noodles paired with a variety of broths, from spicy and tangy to rich and savory. Each bowl is a masterpiece, offering the perfect balance of chewy noodles, aromatic spices, and tender meats. The authenticity of their Lanzhou-style beef noodle soup is a crowd favorite, transporting diners straight to the heart of China.

3) FUIYOH! It’s Uncle Roger

For a quirky and fun dining experience, FUIYOH! It’s Uncle Roger celebrates wok hei and, of course, the liberal use of MSG, as famously advocated by the viral comedian Uncle Roger. This restaurant is perfect for fans of fried rice, noodles, and stir-fried dishes, all prepared with intense heat and authentic Chinese flavors. Dishes come packed with umami goodness, ensuring every bite is as flavorful as it is satisfying. The charm of Uncle Roger’s style, humor, and culinary passion is woven into every dish.

4) Fei Fei Crab

Seafood lovers are in for a treat at Fei Fei Crab, where crab is the undisputed star of the menu. One of their standout dishes is the Creamy Salted Egg Crab, best enjoyed with their fluffy, soft mantou buns. If you’re feeling adventurous, try their Musang King Durian Crab, a one-of-a-kind flavor combination that blends the sweet and pungent durian with savory crab meat. This restaurant is perfect for those who crave bold, unforgettable flavors.

5) Yun Nans

For a taste of Yunnan cuisine, Yun Nans offers a diverse menu of traditional dishes, using locally sourced ingredients to bring the best of China’s Yunnan province to your plate. Signature dishes like the Steam Pot Chicken Soup, made without a single drop of water, highlight the delicate, aromatic flavors that Yunnan cuisine is known for. Another favorite is the Dai Style Lemongrass Grilled Fish, a dish that’s as fragrant as it is flavorful. Whether you’re in the mood for something light or hearty, Yun Nans has it all.
