Nestled within the luxurious surroundings of Solaire Resort, Finestra Italian Steakhouse offers an unparalleled dining experience that masterfully blends traditional Italian flavors with contemporary culinary creativity.

Recognized as one of Manila’s finest dining establishments, Finestra has earned accolades including a spot in the prestigious Philippines Tatler’s T. Dining Awards Best Restaurants of 2020. With its exquisite menu and sophisticated ambiance, Finestra takes guests on a remarkable gastronomic journey, offering time-honored Italian classics alongside modern interpretations in a setting of elegance.

Stuzzichino: Pan-Fried Scallops with Porcini and Kale

Our culinary adventure began with the Stuzzichino course—pan-fried scallops seared to golden perfection. With their delicate crust and tender interior, these scallops were paired beautifully with earthy porcini mushrooms and crisp kale. The flavors of the woodsy porcini and sweet scallops melded perfectly, while the kale added a subtle crunch, setting a sophisticated tone for the evening.

Antipasti: Balik Salmon and Hand-Cut Tartare

The Balik Salmon, delicately smoked, melted in the mouth, complemented by nori powder and a creamy almond milk sauce that enhanced its richness.

As for The Hand-Cut Tartare, prepared with impeccable precision, highlighted the pure flavors of high-quality beef, each bite a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to quality and authenticity.

Primo: Artisanal Fusilli with Sicilian Red Prawn

For the Primo course, Artisanal Fusilli with Sicilian red prawns took center stage. The fresh fusilli, perfectly al dente, was a delightful canvas for the succulent red prawns bursting with natural sweetness. A rich sauce brought the dish together, showcasing the simplicity and elegance of authentic Italian cuisine.

Roasted Tooth Fish

Secondo: US Prime Stripling and Roasted Tooth Fish

The Secondo course offered a dual delight: the US Prime Stripling and Roasted Tooth Fish. The Prime Stripling, served with blueberries and confit potatoes, was a symphony of savory and sweet.

As for the Roasted Tooth Fish, paired with fennel and creamy polenta, highlighted Finestra’s mastery of flavor balance and texture.

Dolce: Finestra Tiramisu

No Italian meal is complete without Tiramisu, and Finestra’s version did not disappoint. Layers of mascarpone cream and espresso-soaked ladyfingers created a harmonious balance of rich and light flavors, delivering a sweet, memorable conclusion to our meal.
