Plaza Premium Group Launches Largest Flight Club at KLIA Terminal 1

September 20, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Plaza Premium Group, the world’s leading airport hospitality service provider, has proudly unveiled its latest venture—Flight Club Restaurant—at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1. This marks the third and largest outlet under the Flight Club brand at KLIA, following Flight Club Signature and Flight Club Grab and Go. Open 24 hours a day to accommodate the constant flow of travelers transiting through Malaysia’s bustling capital, Flight Club offers a versatile dining experience for every type of traveler, from quick bites to leisurely meals or even private business meetings.

This new addition is the second Flight Club to open in Malaysia, following the recent launch at Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI). It embodies the brand’s commitment to enhancing the airport dining experience by offering freshly prepared, locally sourced dishes with an international twist.

Whether you’re in the mood for comforting local delicacies or global cuisine, Flight Club has something to satisfy every palate. One of the standout features of Flight Club is its carefully curated menu, which balances both local flavors and international favourites, using fresh ingredients to ensure quality.

Toasted Bread with Kaya and Butter

A nod to Malaysia’s traditional breakfast, this dish offers perfectly toasted bread served with aromatic kaya and butter, providing a simple yet flavorful start to any journey.

Curry Mee

A must-try and one of their signature dishes, this bowl of noodles comes served in a rich, creamy broth. The fresh ingredients add a delightful contrast to the hearty curry flavor, while a touch of spice elevates the experience. The steaming hot bowl is perfect for those seeking comfort in a familiar, satisfying dish.

Nasi Lemak

No Malaysian menu would be complete without the nation’s beloved nasi lemak. At Flight Club, they serve a fragrant version of this iconic dish, featuring rich, coconut-infused rice paired with sambal, fried anchovies, peanuts, and boiled eggs. Every bite bursts with authentic Malaysian flavors, making it a must for any traveler wanting a true taste of the local culture.

In addition to its signature dishes, Flight Club offers a wide range of options to cater to the diverse preferences of global travelers. Whether you’re looking for a quick, energizing snack before your flight or a leisurely meal with friends or colleagues, Flight Club provides the perfect setting. For business travelers, private spaces are also available, making it convenient to host meetings while enjoying a meal.

By blending international flavors with locally sourced ingredients, Flight Club elevates the typical airport dining experience, ensuring that travelers enjoy not just a meal but a culinary journey that reflects the rich diversity of Malaysia.

Located in KLIA Terminal 1, Flight Club Restaurant is a welcome retreat for anyone passing through the airport. With its 24-hour service and expansive menu, it’s sure to become a favorite for frequent flyers and first-time visitors alike.
