Catch PSY live and celebrate K-week at Solaire Resort Entertainment City

September 12, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Catch the electrifying Hallyu wave at Solaire Resort & Entertainment City with a week-long immersion into the finest of Korean culture, food, and entertainment. From mouthwatering Korean comfort food to sensational live performances, Solaire brings the vibrant spirit of Korea to Manila in an unforgettable celebration that will leave you wanting more.

ChiMac Festival & Live Performances The festivities kick off with the highly anticipated ChiMac Festival on September 7 at the Grand Ballroom, starting at 5 PM. “ChiMac” is a beloved Korean combo of fried chicken (“chi”) and beer (“mac”), and the festival promises an indulgent spread of this popular pairing alongside other delectable Korean dishes. While you feast, enjoy show-stopping performances from DJ Kara, a renowned figure in the Korean music scene, and one of the Philippines’ most iconic bands, The Itchyworms, for an evening of fun, music, and vibrant entertainment.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there! Fans of K-pop legend PSY, known globally for his smash hit “Gangnam Style,” can witness him live at Theatre at Solaire on September 14 at 8 PM. PSY’s performance promises to be nothing short of epic, with his signature energetic style and infectious beats. To make the experience even more unforgettable, Solaire is offering a Stay and Swag Staycation Package, available until September 10. This package includes a stay in a Sky Studio, breakfast for two at Fresh, a Korean-inspired afternoon tea set, a lavish Korean BBQ dinner, and, of course, two VIP tickets to see PSY live in concert!

Indulge in Korean Cuisine at Solaire’s Signature Restaurants From September 7 to 15, the culinary celebration continues across Solaire’s esteemed dining venues. House of Zhou presents a feast of grilled Korean favorites, including samgyupsal (grilled pork belly), eon yang bulgogi (crispy-grilled bulgogi), daeji galbi gui (grilled pork ribs), tteok galbi (grilled short rib patties), and the ever-popular dak galbi (spicy stir-fried chicken).

For those craving noodles, Lucky Noodles will serve classic Korean dishes such as Janchi-guksu (banquet noodles), Bibim-guksu (spicy cold noodles), Clam kal-guksu (hand-cut noodles in clam broth), Japchae (stir-fried glass noodles with vegetables), and the hearty, seafood-packed Jjamppong.

For a unique and elegant twist, head over to Oasis for a Korean-inspired afternoon tea featuring a delightful selection of sweet and savory treats. Expect to find kimchi, bulgogi wraps, gyeong-dan (Korean sweet rice balls), cheeseballs, Korean chicken burgers, scones, and more. It’s the perfect fusion of tradition and indulgence, set in the luxurious ambiance of Oasis.

If you’re a BBQ lover, don’t miss the Sunday K-BBQ buffet at Waterside on September 8 and 15. Here, you can savor a delectable array of Korean BBQ meats, grilled to perfection and served with all the traditional sides for a truly authentic experience.

A Celebration Like No Other This Hallyu-inspired celebration at Solaire promises to be an immersive cultural journey through Korea’s rich heritage of music, food, and entertainment. Whether you’re a K-pop fan, a food enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique experience, Solaire’s Korean festival is set to deliver an exceptional lineup of events and culinary delights.

Celebrate the best of Korean culture at Solaire Resort & Entertainment City and make lasting memories in this one-of-a-kind festival. For more details, inquiries, or reservations, please call +632 8888 8888 or email [email protected]. Don’t miss this extraordinary celebration!
