Up! Up! And Away to… SUSENJILAND on August 18th

August 16, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

As Susenji proudly marks its 8th anniversary, the homegrown Malaysian brand is thrilled to unveil its inaugural FIRST public festival—Susenjiland—on August 18, 2024, at the vibrant APW Bangsar. This landmark event is more than just a celebration of Susenji’s growth but it is a tribute to the rich cultural tapestry of Malaysia, showcasing the brand’s commitment to community, collaboration, and innovation.

A Festive Feast: Culinary Delights and Exclusive Treats

There are so much to venture during that day. Some of the awesome highlights is where they are having great collaborations with some of Malaysia’s most beloved brands.

One of the highlights is from Dough by Meg. In here, Dough by Meg has crafted an exclusive, one-off menu that embodies the essence of the Susenji experience, offering festival-goers a unique fusion of flavors that can’t be found anywhere else.

Pizza Hut joins the celebration with a generous giveaway—500 free slices of pizza or melts burgers will be up for grabs, along with a special RM0.99 promotion available only on the day of the event. For those who crave a refreshing beverage, Tealive is offering a free drink upsize for the first 150 guests, making sure everyone stays cool and refreshed.

But the culinary journey doesn’t stop there. The festival will host a variety of food and beverage vendors, including Hijau KL, Nyonya Colors, Ikan Bakar Ampang, Noods, and more. Whether you’re in the mood for traditional Malaysian dishes like tahu bakar or something more contemporary like truffle capellini, there’s something to satisfy every palate. And for those with a sweet tooth, delectable desserts from Mini Pekka and Acai Paradise will be available, alongside childhood favorites like Aiskrim Malaysia.

Exclusive Launch: Jelly Mofa and Exciting Prizes

One of the most anticipated highlights of Susenjiland is the launch of the limited-edition Jelly Mofa. This best-selling Susenji product is being introduced to the public for the first time in celebration of the brand’s anniversary. Every purchase of Jelly Mofa comes with an exciting opportunity—each customer will receive one ticket for the main lucky draw, where prizes totaling RM 100,000 are up for grabs.

The lucky draw prizes are nothing short of spectacular, featuring luxury items such as a Rolex Submariner, Dyson appliances, an Apple iPad, a Louis Vuitton cardholder, and many more. This makes the Jelly Mofa not just a delicious treat but also a ticket to potentially winning a life-changing prize.

Entertainment and Activities: Fun for All Ages

Susenjiland is designed to be a feast for the senses, offering a wide range of activities and entertainment that cater to all ages. The festival will feature a live DJ performance by DJ Blink, one of Malaysia’s top DJs, who will keep the energy high with his electrifying beats throughout the day.

For the little ones, Kiddocare is hosting a variety of kids’ activities, including arts and crafts, puzzles, and games. This ensures that children are entertained while parents explore the festival. Additionally, nostalgic treats like free-flow cotton candy and popcorn will be available, bringing back fond childhood memories for everyone.

Visitors can also immerse themselves in the vibrant art installations scattered around Susenjiland, perfect for capturing those Instagram-worthy moments. The festival is packed with exclusive vendor deals, offering event-only promotions that are too good to miss.

For those looking to test their luck, the Gashapon Machine will be a must-visit. With a chance to win exciting freebies and special vouchers

Health, Wellness, and Fashion with Susenjiland

Susenjiland isn’t just about fun and food; it’s also a place to discover the latest in health, wellness, and fashion. Attendees can take advantage of free BMI checks and explore innovative health and wellness products that are designed to enhance well-being.

Fashion enthusiasts will be thrilled to explore the exclusive collections and trends from a curated selection of fashion and lifestyle vendors such as Gung Jewellery, Hana Florist, SI Always, and KittieYiyi. The festival will also host workshops, including the highly sought-after colour consultation workshop, which is perfect for anyone looking to update their personal style.

Special Attractions: A Day of Surprises

From start to finish, Susenjiland is packed with surprises. The festival kicks off at 10:00 AM and runs until 10:00 PM, with the first 500 attendees receiving exclusive early bird perks. These perks include limited-edition merchandise, complimentary slices from Pizza Hut, and refreshing drinks from Tealive.

At 3:00 PM, the festival will begin giving away 300 free gifts, ensuring that many lucky visitors go home with something special. Additionally, nostalgic free snacks from the legendary ‘Rotiman’ will be available starting from 11:00 AM, offering festival-goers a chance to relive their childhood memories.

Susenjiland also features interactive workshops hosted by vendors such as Gumme Studio, Muns Academy, and Julyana Scent Studio. These workshops provide a hands-on experience for attendees, allowing them to explore new hobbies and interests in a creative and supportive environment.
