Munchy’s Spreads Happiness with RM100,000 Worth of Biscuits

August 31, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

In celebration of Malaysia’s National Day, Munchy’s, Malaysia’s No. 1^ biscuit brand, marked the occasion by spreading happiness and unity through the distribution of RM100,000 worth of biscuits for breakfast during the National Day parade in Putrajaya.

For 33 years, Munchy’s has been delighting Malaysians with high-quality biscuits, and it is the only homegrown biscuit brand to have won the prestigious World Branding Awards from 2019 to 2022-20231. This year, Munchy’s could not have been more proud to be part of the national celebration for the first time, playing its part to commemorate the nation’s spirit of unity and freedom.

The National Day parade was graced by the presence of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and other esteemed VIPs, who joined thousands of Malaysians in enjoying the vibrant performances and activities organized to celebrate the country’s independence. Amidst the festivities, Munchy’s further delighted the crowd with a selection of its top-quality biscuits, including LEXUS Sandwich, Oat Krunch Breakfast, Cream-O Cookie, Munchy’s Crackers, Roller Coaster and Cloud 9 snacks, adding to the joy and excitement of the day.

Parade spectators and participants savoured every bite of Munchy’s biscuits, praising them for their perfect blend of crunchiness and taste. Known for being both delicious and healthy, Munchy’s products have become a staple in Malaysian households, offering a wholesome snack option that everyone can enjoy together.

“Our campaign, ‘Taste Munchy’s Taste Happiness’, is all about spreading happiness and unity,” said Rodney Wong, CEO of Universal Robina Munchy’s Malaysia. “As such, we are honoured to be able to share our products with Malaysians during the National Day celebrations. To us, ‘M is for Malaysia, M is for Munchy’s, and M is in the hearts of Malaysians!’ This captures our brand’s spirit of togetherness and collective happiness perfectly in line with Hari Merdeka.”

Celebrate with Munchy’s Nationwide Contest

As the National Day celebrations continue, Munchy’s is excited to announce a nationwide contest with prizes worth up to RM180,000, including a grand prize of a car.
