Weekend Buffet Dinner

On Friday and Saturday evenings, Melting Pot Cafe offers an expansive Buffet Dinner that begins with a stunning seafood on ice display, featuring shucked oysters, tiger prawns, and mussels. The Teppan BBQ station, a highlight of the dinner, offers delectable steaks, tender lamb shoulder, and flavorful ikan bakar, all freshly prepared to order.

In addition to the Teppan BBQ, the Buffet Dinner includes a wide array of dishes from various cuisines. Japanese selections such as maki rolls and fresh sashimi provide a taste of the Far East, while local favorites like Hainanese chicken rice, rendang tok, sambal udang, mee goreng, Indian fish curry, chicken or lamb briyani, and prawn massala showcase the richness of Malaysian cuisine.

The buffet also features a carving section, where guests can enjoy savory roasted lamb leg and crispy salmon filo pastry.

Western dishes like penne seafood aglio olio, pan-fried lamb shoulder, and mini chicken chop with garlic brown jus add to the variety. For those who appreciate Thai cuisine, dishes such as white tom yam coconut chicken soup, grilled beef steak salad, glass noodle salad with prawn, shrimp rice, massaman beef curry, and green curry kai are available.

No meal is complete without dessert, and the Buffet Dinner does not disappoint. Guests can choose from French sweet treats like chocolate éclair, mixed fruit pavlova, ivory raspberry verinne, and strawberry kiwi panna cotta, as well as local comforts like Portuguese egg tart, pengat pisang, bubur kacang, and assorted Nyonya kuih.
