OMI @ TRX Exchange : A Culinary Gem in TRX Exchange

June 21, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

OMI has long been one of our favorite dining destinations, and we are thrilled to discover their latest outlet in TRX Exchange. This new location is not only larger but also boasts a more Instagram-friendly ambiance, with an elegant touch that enhances the dining experience.

OMI’s reputation precedes it, having been named the Most Popular Japanese Restaurant in Australia 2022 by World Gourmet, Best Japanese Restaurant 2020 by The Age, and National Winner for Emerging Franchisor 2022 by Franchise Council Australia. Additionally, the restaurant has been featured by Herald Sun, Channel 7 News, TVB Hong Kong, SBS Radio, and Zomato Top Reviewers, among others.

The new outlet at TRX Exchange provides a great ambiance, enhanced by elegant decor that makes it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The restaurant’s design is not only comfortable but also aesthetically pleasing, making it ideal for capturing those Instagram-worthy moments.

Aburi Salmon

Our dining experience at OMI began with their delectable sides. The Aburi Salmon, served medium-rare, is a must-try. The salmon is perfectly cooked and topped with their signature mentaiko sauce, which melts in the mouth and offers a burst of flavor with each bite.

Japanese Fried Gyoza

The Japanese Fried Gyoza is another standout dish. Served with a selection of signature OMI sauces, the gyoza are flavorful and addictively good. Fans of gyoza will appreciate the variety of dipping sauces available, including Spicy Mayo Sauce, Singapore Chili Crab Sauce, Sambal Sauce, Truffle Mayo Sauce, and Salted Egg Sauce.

Salmon Chazuke

One of the highlights of the meal was the Salmon Chazuke (RM49.90). This dish features succulent, rich, and juicy salmon that promises a feast for the senses. It’s an unforgettable experience for any salmon lover.

Soft Shell Crab with Chili Crab Sauce

The Soft Shell Crab with Chili Crab Sauce is another signature dish worth trying. This hearty bowl of rice is completed with an onsen egg, edamame, and crispy crab. The combination is both delicious and satisfying, making every mouthful superbly delightful.

OMI Shiratama Parfait

No meal at OMI would be complete without indulging in their desserts. The OMI Shiratama Parfait is a perfect indulgence, beautifully layered with various delicious components in one cup.

OMI Tiramisu

Another dessert we highly recommend is the OMI Tiramisu, which we absolutely loved for its rich and creamy texture.

OMI at TRX Exchange continues to impress with its award-winning Japanese cuisine and impeccable service. From the delicious sides and main courses to the indulgent desserts, every dish is crafted with care and precision. Whether you are a long-time fan or a first-time visitor, OMI offers a dining experience that is both memorable and satisfying.

Visit OMI at TRX Exchange for an extraordinary culinary journey that promises to delight your taste buds and leave you craving for more.
