Mitsumori @ The Table , Lot 10 : Authentic Japanese Restaurant in Town

June 4, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Craving authentic Japanese cuisine in the heart of Kuala Lumpur? Look no further than Mitsumori, a new restaurant nestled within The Table at Isetan KL. Famed for their handmade soba noodles and light tempura, Mitsumori offers a delightful culinary experience in a cozy and inviting ambiance. We are in Mitsumori during their launch and we are impressed with the meals here.

As we step into Mitsumori, we are greeted by the warmth of sleek wooden tables and the option of bar seating.

In here, we watched the skilled chefs prepare your meal with precision at the open kitchen, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and delight.

Appetizers

Your culinary journey begins with a selection of seasonal appetizers.  The cold tofu, a house specialty, offers a refreshingly soft start, while the edamame provides a classic and satisfying accompanimen

Sashimi:

Next comes the assorted sashimi featuring chunky cuts of fresh tuna, kampachi, and salmon. Each perfectly sliced piece boasts a melt-in-your-mouth sensation, a true testament to the quality of the ingredients.

Tempura Perfection:

Mitsumori’s pride and joy, the chef’s assorted tempura, is a must-try. Freshly prepared and deep-fried upon order, the tempura boasts a variety of options, including shrimp, asparagus, eggplant, pumpkin, sweet corn, salmon and tartar, and scallop. Each bite is a delightful explosion of taste and texture, with the option of dipping in seasalt or the provided sauce.

Grilled Saba Fish

Don’t miss their salted grilled saba. Grilled to perfection, this dish delivers an irresistible smoky flavor and satisfying texture. Love every bites of these awesome Saba Fish.

Homemade Soba

The homemade cold soba is the star of the show. Perfectly prepared with a satisfying chewiness, the cold soba noodles are ideal for slurping and savoring.

Almond pudding and fresh mango parfait

Indulge in a delightful finale with the almond pudding and fresh mango parfait. This light and refreshing dessert is the perfect way to conclude your Mitsumori experience.

Mitsumori offers a delightful escape to the heart of Japan within Kuala Lumpur. With its focus on fresh ingredients, traditional techniques, and a warm ambiance, Mitsumori promises a memorable dining experience.
