The taste of Zipangu @ Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur

May 13, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Introducing an enchanting new dining experience tailored for families, Zipangu by Nadaman, nestled within the luxurious Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur, unveils The Taste of Zipangu family set menu. Available during weekend lunch hours, this exclusive offering promises an extraordinary journey through Japanese cuisine, fostering cherished moments of togetherness for all generations.

Crafted with families in mind, The Taste of Zipangu set menu embraces the essence of communal dining, inviting groups of three or more to come together and revel in the delights of Japanese gastronomy. Executive Chef Takizawa, a master of his craft, meticulously curates a menu that caters to both discerning adult palates and the playful tastes of children.

Junior Bento

At the heart of this culinary adventure lies the Junior Bento, a whimsical feast designed to captivate young appetites. Each component of this delightful meal is thoughtfully arranged to entice and satisfy, featuring a delightful array of flavors and textures guaranteed to leave little ones craving more. Succulent chicken sausages, tender Yakitori skewers, and crispy deep-fried prawns promise an explosion of taste and texture. The true magic of the Junior Bento lies in its presentation, with every element meticulously shaped and arranged to delight the eyes as much as the taste buds. Adorable rice sculptures, fashioned into playful bears and rabbits, add a touch of whimsy to the dining experience, transforming each meal into a delightful adventure for young diners.

Zipangu sharing Platter

Complementing the Junior Bento is the Zipangu sharing Platter, a culinary masterpiece showcasing an array of signature dishes including the indulgent Dragon roll, succulent grilled teak Cubes, and flavorful grilled black Cod with Saikyo Miso. This sharing platter invites families to savor every moment together, creating unforgettable memories with each exquisite bite.

The Junior Bento is priced at RM 88 nett and the Zipangu sharing platter at RM 280 nett.

But the excitement doesn’t end there! On Sundays during lunch, young ones can unleash their creativity with engaging origami sessions, adding an extra layer of fun and excitement to the dining experience. To further enhance this extraordinary dining experience, guests can elevate their meal by indulging in an assortment of Sushi or Sashimi, accompanied by a generous 15% discount on Sake Carafes until the end of April 2024.

In addition to the family set menu, guests can also explore a tempting selection of à la carte options and Omakase Kaiseki experiences with prior booking, ensuring a bespoke dining experience tailored to individual preferences.
