Resorts World Genting is proud to announce the highly anticipated collaboration with Taylor’s Culinary Institute for the third installment of the Michelin Magic Series. This one-night-only culinary spectacle, set to take place on Friday, 26 April 2024 at 7pm, promises an unforgettable dining experience that celebrates two renowned French chefs’ illustrious journey and unrivaled expertise in the culinary world. A four-course dinner will take helm at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse by Michelin-starred Chef Jocelyn Deumie and Chef Pascal Bonnafous.

Chef Jocelyn began his journey in 1999 at the prestigious Lycée Hôtelier of Toulouse, marking the inception of a remarkable odyssey of gastronomic discovery for the gentleman. Throughout his noteworthy career, Chef Jocelyn has honed his craft in the kitchens of renowned establishments across the globe, including the iconic Le Ballandre in Cahors to the acclaimed Les Jardins de l’Opéra in Toulouse, which he earns the prestigious Michelin star. Under the mentorship of Chef René Gillard at L’Esplanade à Domme, a distinguished establishment boasting two Michelin stars, he mastered the intricate art of “Foie Gras à la Truffe. He further honed his skills at L’Amphitryon in Colomiers and Bagatelle in Oslo, as well as refining his craft at Le Voilier in Bonifacio, Corsica and La Grande Table de Kitamura in Nagoya, both prestigious establishments boasting an award winning three Micheline stars and revered two Michelin star individually. Today, as the General Director and Rougie Foie Gras Ambassador for Asia, Chef Jocelyn continues to innovate and inspire with his culinary expertise.

Joining him in unison is Chef Pascal, a seasoned veteran with over three decades of experience in Michelin-starred establishments worldwide. Chef Pascal’s culinary journey has taken him from the vibrant culinary capitals of France and Spain to the diverse culinary scenes of America. His extensive experience has earned him accolades and recognition, including the prestigious title of disciple of Escoffier. Chef Pascal’s culinary philosophy transcends borders, seamlessly blending traditional techniques with modern flair to craft dishes that not only tantalize the palate but also ignite the imagination. His commitment to excellence and innovation has garnered him widespread acclaim, solidifying his status as a true master of his craft. In addition to his illustrious career in the culinary world, Chef Pascal also spent five remarkable years helming his own Michelin-starred restaurant, further cementing his reputation as a culinary luminary. Transitioning to the academic side of the culinary industry, Chef Pascal now serves as a senior lecturer at the renowned Toulouse Culinary School, where he shares his wealth of knowledge and experience with the next generation of culinary talents.

Together, these culinary virtuosos  will enchant guests with a meticulously curated menu featuring signature dishes that have earned accolades and acclaim. Chef Pascal will kick off the evening by tantalizing diners taste buds with mouthwatering scallop ceviche and vegetable “Gargouillou” enhanced with labneh and spices. Meanwhile, Chef Jocelyn will present the main course, featuring his exquisite pan-fried Black Angus paired with foie gras, potato confit, butternut puree, and a classic morel sauce.
