Nestlé Malaysia’s ‘Salary For Life’ is Coming Back in 2024 to Uplift Malaysians and Support Communities in Need

April 22, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Reflecting its continuous commitment to enhance the quality of life of Malaysians and give back to local communities, Nestlé Malaysia today announced the return of its Peraduan Nestlé Gaji Seumur Hidup (Nestlé ‘Salary For Life’ contest), a life-changing campaign that offers Malaysians the opportunity to make their dreams happen, while extending financial support to deserving charities and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

Making a positive impact on society has been Nestlé’s’ driving force throughout the Company’s 112 years of presence in Malaysia. First launched in 2020 at the start of COVID-19 lockdowns, Peraduan Nestlé Gaji Seumur Hidup awarded over RM4 million in cash prizes, benefitting more than 850 Malaysians during trying times with two grand prize winners selected amongst 17 finalists, bringing home a monthly ‘Salary For Life’ of RM3,000. Nestlé Malaysia also contributed a total of RM684,000 to 17 charitable organisations that participated in the initiative by being selected by each of the 17 finalists.

This year, from May 1 to June 30, 2024, the campaign will strive to change lives for the better with more than RM4 million in prizes once again up for grabs. This includes the grand prize of a monthly RM3,500 ‘Salary For Life’ for two lucky Malaysians, as well as exciting consolation prizes, weekly prizes and daily prizes, alongside contributions from the Company to 17 charitable organisations to be associated with the contest finalists.

Mr. Juan Aranols, Chief Executive Officer of Nestlé (Malaysia) Berhad said, “Peraduan Nestlé Gaji Seumur Hidup truly embodies our purpose to enhance quality of life, providing a platform for Malaysians to have an opportunity to pursue their dreams, while financially supporting charitable organisations making life better for underprivileged communities. Through this campaign and the many other initiatives we have in place, we are committed to creating positive change for Malaysians from all walks of life.”

Also present at the launch of the latest edition of Peraduan Nestlé Gaji Seumur Hidup was one of the grand prize winners of 2020, Encik Amirrul Hafiz Bin Razak, 36, from Temerloh, Pahang.

Sharing on how this contest changed his life, Encik Amirrul commented, “Before making it to the finals in 2020, my life was riddled with challenges, especially as at the time, my wife and I were anticipating the arrival of our first child. Winning felt like an unimaginable blessing, and it has truly changed the trajectory of my life. Thanks to the prize money, I have been able to support my parents, secure my children’s future, purchase our dream home and continue supporting charitable organisations that are doing important work. I was also happy to choose Pertubuhan Tindakan Wanita Islam (PERTIWI), a charity organisation that helped nourish the urban poor and homeless who were struggling during the height of the pandemic, as the beneficiary of Nestlé’s contributions.”

To participate in Peraduan Nestlé Gaji Seumur Hidup, Malaysians need only to purchase RM20 worth of participating Nestlé products in a single receipt and submit it via Whatsapp with their full name and identification number, or via a webform available at dearnestle.com.my/borang-peraduan-gaji-seumur-hidup-2024, as well as accessible via QR codes easy to spot in most retail stores. Consumers can submit an unlimited number of receipts to win this chance of a lifetime.
