Alma Tees Up Virtual Reality Golf

April 2, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Alma Resort Cam Ranh has unveiled a cutting-edge golf simulator, transporting guests to iconic golf courses around the world via virtual reality.

Adjacent to the resort’s Youth Club, the South Korean-manufactured Bravo Pro Golf Simulator cost Alma almost USD 25,000 to implement and is the most advanced golf simulator on the market today.

For VND 450,000 per hour, guests experience virtual reality golf, choosing from about 125 golf courses simulating golf courses in a host of countries. Golf courses range from Vietnam’s Van Tri Golf Club and California’s Torrey Pines Golf Course to Thailand’s Alpine Golf Club and China’s JinMen Golf Course.

Equipment includes two sets of golf clubs, a projector, a sensor that measures the swing speed of the club, ball speed and ball direction, a golf course simulation screen, and a recording camera to help guests correct their golf posture or to save as a souvenir.

“Whether you’re an avid golfer looking to perfect your swing or a beginner eager to learn the sport, Bravo Pro Golf Simulator’s precise graphics and 3D imaging will make you feel like you’re playing right on the fairway,” said the resort’s managing director Herbert Laubichler-Pichler.

Alma’s Bravo Pro Golf Simulator is the only golf simulator open for public use in the Cam Ranh area.

Alma has three “Golf & Splash” day pass packages on offer for outside guests. Priced at VND 650,000 for an individual, VND 1,000,000 for a couple and VND 1,500,000 for a group of four people, the packages include one-hour’s access to the golf simulator, unlimited access to Alma’s Splash Water Park, swimming pools, and Long Beach, and food and beverage credit.

The individual package includes VND 135,000 in F&B credit, with one non-alcoholic drink. The couple’s package features VND 320,000 in F&B credit with two non-alcoholic drinks. The package for a group of four people comes with VND 590,000 credit for food and beverage.
