A Tranquil Respite Amidst Travel: Haneda Excel Tokyu Airport Hotel Unveiled

April 11, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Embarking on a journey from Kuala Lumpur to Japan is undoubtedly an exhilarating experience, filled with the promise of new adventures and cultural discoveries. However, the arduousness of travel, especially with young children, necessitates thoughtful planning and consideration. Our family, cognizant of the potential challenges, opted for a strategic pitstop—booking a night at the Haneda Excel Tokyu Airport Hotel, strategically nestled within Terminal 2.

As our flight touched down in Japan at around 10 pm, a time when weariness tends to set in, the decision to spend the night at the airport hotel proved to be a stroke of genius. The convenience of the hotel’s location was immediately apparent, with a dedicated shuttle bus effortlessly ferrying us from Terminal 2 to the hotel. This seamless transition from airport to accommodation set a relaxed tone for the beginning of our Japanese escapade.

Upon entering our designated family room, designed to cater to the needs of three weary travelers, we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious layout and thoughtful amenities. A refrigerator and other essential facilities welcomed us, transforming our temporary abode into a comforting retreat. This strategic choice allowed us to refresh and rejuvenate before delving into the vibrant city awaiting exploration.

A notable highlight of our stay at Haneda Excel Tokyu Airport Hotel was the luxurious bath experience. The well-appointed bathroom, featuring a rejuvenating tub, provided an oasis of relaxation, allowing us to shake off the travel fatigue and unwind in a serene environment. The warm water and soothing ambiance became an unexpected source of rejuvenation.

Aware of the challenges posed by late-night arrivals and limited dining options, the hotel’s ingenious vending machines became our culinary saviors. Stocked with an array of noodles and snacks, complemented by the convenience of hot water, we were able to enjoy a simple yet satisfying meal within the confines of our room.

As we settled in for the night, the hotel’s unexpected offering unfolded—a breathtaking view overlooking the airport runway. Mesmerized by the planes taking off and landing, we found ourselves captivated by this unexpected spectacle, adding an extra layer of fascination to our stay.

The overall ambiance of the hotel played a pivotal role in crafting a tranquil atmosphere. The marriage of a plush bed with the coziness of the room ensured a restful night’s sleep, recharging our spirits for the adventures that awaited us beyond the hotel walls.

In summation, our stay at the Haneda Excel Tokyu Airport Hotel became more than just a layover—it emerged as a strategic, soothing prelude to our Japanese sojourn. The seamless convenience, thoughtful comforts, and unexpected delights collectively contributed to a memorable experience, setting the stage for a remarkable journey ahead.
