Mata Langit By Plataran : The Magnificent View of Yogyakarta

January 10, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Located in the green and verdant surroundings of the Menoreh Hills in Central Java, Mata Langit by Plataran; a destination that encapsulates the very best the region has to offer. From this elevated vantage point, the horizon rolls in and out a rippling spine of six mountains (Merapi, Merbabu, Telomoyo, Andong, Sumbing and Prahu) to create an awe-inspiring panoramic view.

Adding to the majesty of the scene, the spellbinding beauty of Borobudur can be seen from above; the perfect birds-eye perspective from which to appreciate its design. At nightfall here you can see the fluorescent lights illuminating the village below. It looks like a star cast in the sky because it’s called Sky.

Overlooking the rural villages, Garden of Java farmland and threaded together by the shimmering veins of the Progo river below, the view from Mata Langit by Plataran forms an unforgettable backdrop for Plataran encounters and events such as picnic breakfasts, lunch, sunrise to sunset tours, meditation, yoga, outbound and photography sessions.

And in here, one can enjoy the western or even the Italian delights at this fancy restaurant at the mountains of Menoreh. With the beautiful scenic view, one can be amazed with the magnificient scenery that can be seen around Borubudor. Some of the food which is being served here includes the Pesto Risoto, Homemade Ravioli, Spaghetti Carbonara, Spinach Raviolim Spaghetti Aglio Olio and more.

For those who would love to grab this scenic view of Yogyakarta, this is one of the place to visit and you will definite to WOW about it too .
