Throughout the entire month of October, the hotel will be hosting a series of heartwarming initiatives and campaigns to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer. A portion of all proceeds from these activities will be donated to support this noble cause.
From floral workshops to pink-themed afternoon tea sets and desserts, as well as free breast examinations conducted by BCWA nurses, Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara is dedicated to providing a memorable Pink October experience for its customers while spreading positivity and raising awareness about breast cancer.
To kickstart this month-long campaign, Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara will host a Pink Octoberthemed floral workshop at Le Bar Cocktails & Stories in the lobby lounge on October 7, 2023. This delightful workshop will be led by SoulPOP, a renowned floral designer from Malaysia and Singapore. Participants will not only have the chance to learn the art of arranging beautiful blooms but will also contribute to the fight against breast cancer. Adding to the charm, Le Bar Cocktails and Stories will offer a carefully curated Pink October-themed afternoon tea. These delectable treats, infused with French expertise and aesthetic presentation, will feature shades of pink to honour the cause. For those with an appetite for culinary indulgence, Kwee Zeen’s Treasures from the Sea Buffet awaits, featuring fresh lobsters, prawns, salmon, scallops, oysters, sushi, sashimi, a refreshing salad bar, an array of cheeses, and other delights. As part of our commitment to breast cancer awareness, BCWA’s Pink Mobile Unit will be making a special appearance at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara on October 20th and 27th, 2023, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. for both dates. The Pink Mobile Unit will be stationed at the hotel’s entrance, offering free breast examination sessions inside the truck and guided explanations of the correct steps for early detection by their professionally trained nurses. This activity is open to hotel guests and members of the public residing near the Damansara Heights vicinity.
