Freshable Partners with The Hope Branch to Provide Meals for Underprivileged Community

May 29, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

Freshable, the innovative ready-to-cook meal kit delivery service, partnered with The Hope Branch, a non-profit organisation dedicated to social welfare, to distribute fresh and nutritious meals at the Pusat Gelandangan Medan Tuanku homeless shelter earlier today.
As part of its commitment to corporate responsibility and creating a positive impact in the community, Freshable joined forces with The Hope Branch to provide 150 packs of fresh and nutritious meals to the underprivileged community.
As a business operating in the food and beverage sector, Freshable recognised the plight of the less fortunate with food insecurity. Driven by a deep sense of compassion, the company sought to make a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged people in their local community by making a food donation.
In line with Freshable’s vision of building a healthier Malaysia, each pack of food contributed by the company offered a balanced meal with carbohydrates, protein, and fibre. This ensured that the recipients had nourishing meals that contribute to their health and well-being.
“We are honoured to have the opportunity to extend our support to the underprivileged community at the centre. We believe that everyone deserves to have warm, delicious, and nutritious meals which is why we reached out to The Hope Branch to collaborate on this project. We’re happy this has been such a success and we hope to undertake more impactful projects in the future,” said Adeline Tang, Co-founder and CEO of Freshable.
The event witnessed a heartwarming gathering as Freshable’s dedicated team, along with volunteers from The Hope Branch, came together to ensure the smooth execution of the meal distribution. Adorned with bright smiles, they created an atmosphere of warmth and compassion, fostering a sense of unity and togetherness during this joyous occasion.
Freshable’s unwavering commitment to social responsibility extends beyond donating food. They actively seek opportunities to make a positive difference in the lives of those less fortunate, firmly believing in the transformative power of compassion.
