Family Staycation @ Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur Managed by Banyan Tree

May 31, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

A staycation holds immense value for families, providing a short holiday where we can spend precious time together and create lasting memories. This time, we decided to embark on a delightful 3-day, 2-night staycation at Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur, a choice that proved to be perfect for our weekend getaway. Situated at the heart of Bukit Bintang, Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur offered us the much-needed escape we craved, allowing us to immerse ourselves in a rejuvenating experience while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the Bukit Bintang area.

Upon arrival, we were immediately captivated by the hotel’s warm and inviting ambiance. Our hotel room, with its simple yet cozy design, instantly made us feel at home. It provided a tranquil retreat where we could fully unwind and make the most of our time together as a family. The spaciousness of the room was an added bonus, allowing us to move freely and comfortably.

One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking view of Bukit Bintang that greeted us as we entered the room. The panoramic sight of the bustling streets below, with the city’s vibrant energy filling the air, added a touch of excitement and made us appreciate the location even more. It served as a constant reminder of the vibrant city life just outside our window.

The comfort of the beds exceeded our expectations, ensuring a restful sleep each night. As parents, we appreciated the opportunity to recharge and wake up feeling refreshed, ready to embrace each day of our staycation. The kids, on the other hand, were overjoyed by the two hearty chocolate plates that awaited them upon arrival. The delicious treats provided a delightful indulgence and added an element of excitement to their stay.

In addition to the cozy and well-appointed room, Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur also offered a range of amenities to enhance our experience. The room was equipped with all the necessary conveniences, including a fridge, coffee and tea facilities, and a spacious safe box to secure our valuables. These thoughtful touches ensured that our stay was comfortable and convenient.

Exploring the hotel further, we discovered a fitness gym on the top floor, inviting us to maintain our fitness routine while enjoying panoramic views of Kuala Lumpur. The infinity pool, with its stunning backdrop of the city skyline, provided a serene setting where we could relax, cool off, and soak up the vibrant atmosphere.

One of the most memorable aspects of our staycation was the baking class offered by the hotel for kids. Our daughter, Grace, thoroughly enjoyed the experience of making her own madeleine cookies. The hands-on activity sparked her creativity and culinary curiosity, and the joy on her face as she savored her creations was priceless.

When it came to dining options, Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur left us spoilt for choice. We discovered Jade Pavilion, the hotel’s Chinese restaurant, which offered an exquisite selection of dim sum and Chinese delights. The flavors and presentation impressed us, leaving us eager to return for more. For a wide variety of dining options, we indulged in the buffet spread at The Courtyard, the hotel’s all-day dining venue. From international cuisines to local delicacies, there was something to satisfy every palate.

During her staycation, Grace had the opportunity to participate in a baking class, which added an extra layer of enjoyment to her experience. She found great pleasure in the hands-on activity of making her own madeleines. Grace found the baking class to be a wonderful way to unwind and unleash her creativity. She appreciated the opportunity to learn new skills and gain insights from the instructor. It was a memorable experience that not only provided her with delicious treats but also left her with a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction.

Our staycation at Pavilion Hotel Kuala Lumpur provided the perfect opportunity for our family to escape the routine and immerse ourselves in a world of relaxation, fun, and culinary delights. It allowed us to bond, create cherished memories, and appreciate the joys of being together. We returned home feeling rejuvenated, grateful for the quality time we shared, and already planning our next staycation adventure.
