EXCITING, INSPIRING AND EDUCATIONAL: DANANG MARRIOTT RESORT & SPA PRESENTS ACTIVITY-PACKED FAMILY VACATIONS

May 16, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

Danang Marriott Resort & Spa, the tropical beachfront paradise on Vietnam’s stunning central coast, intuitively understands the needs of families. For parents, a multi-generational vacation provides the perfect opportunity to inspire their little ones and create lasting memories. But finding ways to keep kids educated and entertained can be a challenge.

Fortunately, the resort’s hospitality experts have crafted an extensive selection of learning experiences, adventures and excursions to keep all ages fully engaged throughout their stay. With world-class accommodation, fantastic facilities and immersive activities, all surrounded by the natural and cultural wonders of central Vietnam, every guest – including tots and teens – will be able to discover new skills and gain fresh insights that could potentially evolve into a lifelong passion.

Outdoor-loving families can embark on the “Hoi An Eco Tour” (08:00 – 13:00 hrs), which transports them to a water coconut forest where kids will love learning how to paddle a bamboo basket boat. Having donned a traditional nón lá (conical hat) and farm clothing, guests will then take a trip to Tra Que herb village where they can help farmers plant their organic produce and take a tour of the gardens, before soaking their feet in a relaxing herbal water bath. A rice paper making session and cooking class will then teach the parents and children how to craft authentic Vietnamese food, before tasting their own dishes. This immersive half-day itinerary is priced at USD 146 for one person and USD 340 for a family of four.

Alternatively, nature lovers can take a guided “Wildlife Walk” (14:30 – 18:30 hrs) through the Son Tra Nature Reserve, a breath-taking coastal forest that rises to 700 meters above sea-level and showcases spectacular views of the ocean. This ecological paradise is home to many rare species of birds, butterflies and primates, including the critically endangered red-shanked douc langurs, which could be spotted along the way. This is priced at USD 171 for one person and USD 266 for a family of four.

Families have endless opportunities to unwind together Families can explore the caves of the Marble Mountains

For culture seekers, the “Marble Mountain – Hoi An Ancient Town” tour (08:00 – 14:00 hrs) covers some of Central Vietnam’s most intriguing destinations. Active families can climb the stone stairs of the Marble Mountains and soak up panoramic views of the countryside, before visiting Huyen Khong cave and a stone carving village. A short drive then transports travellers to Hoi An, the UNESCO World Heritage-listed port town which is famous for its elegant cobbled streets, historic shophouses and iconic Japanese Covered Bridge. This excursion is available for USD 137 for one person and USD 305 for a family of four, including lunch.

Danang Marriott Resort & Spa also offers a wide variety of onsite activities for kids. Philips Cao, the resort’s experienced and engaging Recreation Supervisor, presents a choice of fun sessions. Youngsters can choose from Cooking Classes such as cupcake decorating spring roll making and smoothie blending, Artistic Workshops including bracelet making and conical hat painting, or Outdoor Activities like beach walks, kids’ aerobics and swimming lessons. So, every child can find their perfect pastime and parents can enjoy some well-deserved peace and quiet!

“Family vacations are truly priceless experiences, providing unique opportunities for children to try exciting new activities and learn different skills. At Danang Marriott Resort & Spa, parents can rest assured that their little ones will never complain about being bored! Our extensive selection of recreational classes and local excursions will ensure that every family can create memories that last a lifetime,” said Piotr Madej, General Manager, Danang Marriott Resort & Spa.

Hoi An Ancient Town is a charming UNESCO World Heritage site with historic shophouses and cobbled streets
