PAVILION KL CELEBRATES 15TH ANNIVERSARY WITH 15,000 GIVEAWAYS

March 6, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

In honour of its 15th anniversary, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s award-winning premier shopping destination, will be commemorating the milestone occasion by offering exclusive gifts to shoppers on the 15th day of every month throughout the celebratory period.

To express gratitude for the support received over the past 15 years, and to showcase Pavilion Style (fashion), Pavilion Feast (dining) and Pavilion Excites (urban leisure), Pavilion KL will be collaborating with its iconic tenants to reward shoppers with exclusive gifts every month*, until 2023 – making it the mall’s longest shopper giveaway to date!

To kick-start its anniversary celebration – in line with the pillar of Pavilion Excites – Pavilion KL will be giving away 15,000 free movie tickets* from now until 1 March. Shoppers can be a part of the massive giveaway by doing the following:

*FREE EARLY BIRD TICKETS: The first 150 early bird shoppers to visit the redemption counter at Porte Cochere Concierge on Level 2 will each be rewarded with one free movie ticket*, without any spend.

SPEND AND REDEEM: Shoppers who spend RM150 in a single receipt will be eligible to redeem one movie ticket* (maximum four tickets per shopper) at the Main Concierge located on Level 3.

*VISIT PAVILION KL EVERY MONTH: Shoppers, mark your calendars! On the 15th of every month, shoppers will be delighted with even more experiences, surprises and redemption gifts* to elevate your shopping experience.

*While stocks last.

To relive the mall’s most memorable moments over the past 15 years, shoppers, visitors and patrons can visit the ‘Pavilion KL 15 Years Gallery’ located at Couture Pavilion, Level 2. From the launch of the mall’s iconic precincts and its awe-inspiring record-breaking feats, to its star-studded celebrity appearances, impressive award victories, and other noteworthy events, visitors will be taken on a visual journey through photos to look back at Pavilion KL’s pivotal moments.

Pavilion KL’s tenant appreciation gala dinner at Pavilion Hotel

Pavilion KL celebrated its anniversary with a tenant appreciation gala dinner that took place on 15 and 16 February at Pavilion Hotel where over 800 tenants and business partners were in attendance. The event was graced by Pavilion KL executive chairman Puan Sri Cindy Lim, board of directors Dato’ Sri Lee Tuck Fook, Dato’ Maznah bin Abdul Jalil, Dato’ Frank Choo, and Dato’ Mearia @ Massahariah binti Hamzah; Chief Executive Officer (Retail) of Pavilion KL, Dato’ Joyce Yap; and Chief Executive Officer of Pavilion REIT, Dato’ Philip Ho.

Guests were entertained by international celebrity songstress Frances Yip and Malaysian jazz vocalist Janet Lee. During the dinner, Puan Sri Cindy Lim thanked everyone who came together as one to make the past 15 years a success.

“Our success results from the collaborative effort of individuals working together towards a shared objective of greatness. I must credit the commitment and support of Pavilion KL’s retailers, partners, Qatar Investment Authority (QIA), Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), Pavilion KL management, and staff for all we have achieved over the years. As we reflect upon all that we have accomplished, we are proud to have established Pavilion KL as an internationally recognised retail brand. I look forward to many more years of fantastic achievements, reaching greater heights together in the years to come.

“In addition, we extend our gratitude to our loyal shoppers who have been with us over the years. As a gesture of our appreciation, we aim to continue rewarding our shoppers with more giveaways and gifts throughout the year to celebrate Pavilion KL’s 15th anniversary,” said Puan Sri Cindy Lim.
