Zi Wei Yuan x Chicken Claypot House Ipoh : MUST TRY HOTPOT IN IPOH!

January 21, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

Zi Wei Yuan Steamboat is one of the famous hotpot which is originated from Raja Uda. And this time, they had opened their outlet with collaboration with the Chicken Hotpot. One can now enjoy the both the Chicken Hotpot and the Fish Steamboat in one place.

Being that, we are there in Ipoh to try the awesome Fish Steamboat which is very popular in Penang. In here, one can enjoy the awesome-licious Fish Steamboat in a traditional way.

Located at the heart of Ipoh, Zi Wei Yuan x Chicken Pot is located just opposite the  SOHO Ipoh and one of the highlight is they have ample parking space which we love the most.  The restaurant comes with simple and yet decently decorated.

We  started off with their Zi Wei Yuan signature which is their Deep Fried Fish Steamboat. The Fish Steamboat comes with the choices of Deep Fried Fish Steamboat and the Grouper Steamboat. The hotpot for Small ( S) is at RM 58, and Large at RM 78.

As for those who wants some worry free add-ons; they do have set too for you to add on to your existing hotpot.  In here, they comes with the choice of RM168  (3-4 pax); RM 238 (5-6 pax); RM 388 (7-8 pax) and RM 468 ( 9-10 pax)

As for this time, we had their 3-4 pax package which comes with scrumptious ingredients which covers from prawns, fish paste, meatballs, pork stomach, pork slices, crown daisy, rice noodles and the fried yuba.

The set is indeed worthy as the ingredients comes simply generous too and most importantly fresh.

If not enough,  you can add some some of the more of the seafood series such as the Deep Fried Fish Grouper, Homemade Fish Paste, Sea Cucumber, Fish Maw, Sea Prawn, Hokkaido Scallops, Fish Balls, Top Graded Iberico Pork, Pork Stomach and many more.

We had added some of them to enjoy in their hotpot. I love how the brooth is done, and the umami of it. The seafood sweetness of the soup is simply irrestible and each mouthful is heavenly good. Love the flavours of it.

For those who plan to celebrate birthday here, GOOD NEWS! You can enjoy these awesome birthday PROMO where they will be serving you your Iberico Pork Slice Birthday “Cake” worth RM 50 on your birthday with the minimum spending of RM 200.

Why wait? Is time to visit their outlet now to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year !
