Miam Miam @ Kiara Bay

January 18, 2023 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review, Invited Review Leave a Comment

Miam’, which is French for ‘Yum’, is exactly what we want our diners to say!

A well-loved and known name in Singapore since its inception in 2013, Miam Miam is now in Malaysia and promises to be your new favourite pork-free French-Japanese restaurant.

Inspired by Japanese kissatens during the Meiji restoration period when French cuisine was a strong influence, Miam Miam takes pride in bringing you the best of French artisanal cooking techniques and traditional Japanese cooking  arts. And recently, they had opened their first outlet now in Kepong bringing you a casual dining experience with friends, family or even a date night or a fun day with the family.

As for the menu, Miam Miam only uses the freshest premium ingredients and products and prepared with love and passion by their experience chef.

What We Eat

And this time, as we visited them during the brunch time, we decided to go for their signatures.

Miam Miam Big Breakfast

One must try is the Miam Miam Big Breakfast. The Miam Miam Big Breakfast is served with the Teriyaki Chicken Sausage, Smoked Duck Breast, Sauteed Mushrooms, Tamagoyaki, edamame, avocado sourdough toast, arugula, seared cherry tomatoes and micro green. It is served together with the miso mayo and tangy pomodoro. The dish comes with the generous portion and as for me.  They are really fresh and the teriyaki chicken and the smoked chicken breast is something worthwhile to go for.

Berry & Nut Salad Bowl (RM 17.80)

It is one of our favourites where these berry-licious delights is not just healthy as it is meatless but is is packed with all our daily essentials nutrients, and they are tossed together with the tangy berry sauce.

Mentaiko Miso Squid Spaghetti (RM34.80)

One of the signatures in Miam Miam is their Mentaiko Miso Squid Spaghetti. The spaghetti is perfectly cooked till al-dente and they are topped with the golden soft shell crab, asparagus and chili. They are also perfectly topped with the gratinated homemade Mentaiko Sauce. This is amazingly delicious and its filled with the umami taste in it. You can opt to upgrade for squid ink pasta with additional RM 2.00

Donburi – Glazed Teriyaki Chicken Donburi (RM 26.80)

For fans of rice, you can go for their teriyaki chicken donburi, The juicy and succulent chicken chinks and Japanese leek is beautifully glazed and served with the Nippon Sauce and topped with the wafu tofu, baby radish and crisp cucumber. Deliciously good and every mouthful is sinfully addictive

Dark Chocolate Souffle (RM 19.80)

We love how the dark chocolate souffle is done. They are really good and well prepared. The souffle is deliciously light and airy and tey are topped with the decedent melted dark chocolate.

The Carnalized Banana Pancake

The pancakes comes simply delicious and served with the aromatic caramelized banana which is cooked in deep golden caramel sauce, and they are then garnished with seasalt, toasted almond nibs and a scoop of Hokkaido Milk Gelato. ‘

So, is time to head to Miam Miam now and enjoy the superbly delicious meal that you will definitely love.
