Auntie Lora Kopitiam prides itself on serving authentic Penang Hawker fares in Taman Segar, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. Recently, they’ve expanded with another outlet in Lalaport, offering a delightful taste of Penang’s culinary treasures.
Established since 1981, Auntie Lora Kopitiam began as a small stall, eventually expanding into a proper shop in 2008. Their menu boasts a variety of Penang specialties, including Prawn Mee, Assam Laksa, Lam Mee, Penang Curry Mee, Koay Teow Th’ng, Penang White Coffee, Toasted Bread, and Half-Boiled Egg, among others. Additional choices such as Dry Curry Mee, Pork Meat Balls, Dry Lam Mee, Dry Koay Teow, and more are also available.
One of their standout dishes is the Hokkien Lor Mee, which is truly worth a try. The spiciness and umami flavors blend perfectly, and adding the lor (gravy) balances the spice with sweetness, creating a slightly creamy base. It’s a dish that’s sure to delight your taste buds.
