This month, four Malaysian pastry chefs will compete at the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie 2023, also known as Pastry World Cup, where top pastry chefs worldwide put their skills to the test. Team Malaysia will go up against teams from 20 countries on 20 and 21 January 2023.

Team Malaysia previously won the Asian Pastry Cup 2022, securing their entry in Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie 2023.

The team hopes to replicate Malaysia’s success in Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie 2019, where team Malaysia emerged as champions, with Debic appointing Chef Otto Tay and Chef Loi Ming Ai as Debic Ambassadors.
