A Family Staycation @ Amari SPICE Penang

January 16, 2023 By StrawberrY Gal - Hotel, Hotel Review Leave a Comment

It has been awhile since we are in Penang. Since is a school holiday, we decided for a short vacation and “balik kampung” to my lovely state Penang. As we heard about NEW HOTEL in BAYAN LEPAS, we are pretty excited as we would love to stay nearby to our parents but also have a fun staycation with the kids.

LOCATION

Amari Penang is definitely my choice of hotel as it is located at Bayan Lepas and just next to  SPICE Convention Centre, the world’s first hybrid-power venue.. With the mass development in this area, Amari is definitely a great hotel to stay where they are located nearby the airport, just next to SPICE Convention Centre, and also nearby Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone.

Asides from that, the hotel stands out in appearance and service too and is convenient to reach places like Georgetown, Penang Hill, Snake Temple and many more.

ABOUT THE ROOMS

With over 450 rooms to choose at the hotel, the room ranges from Deluxe room to Suites which cater to different kinds of customers which includes business, couples, and family crowd too.

OUR ROOM

And this time, we have a nice time staying in their Premium Room which comes with a huge king-size bed overlooking the beautiful view of SPICE Convention Centre.

The room is completed with a walk-in wardrobe space where you can put your baggage with the open concept style. It comes with a safety box and also basic necessities such as iron and iron board.

The bed is simply comfortable and it comes with additional pillows with different comfort that make us just like home. We love how they had put in additional efforts to ensure the customer’s comfort when staying with them.

The bed is comfortable, clean and just so nice that we can doze off in minutes.

The room is also complete with a working table for those who are looking to do some work. And we love the overall space as well which suits us so much to do our work easily and impromptu.

As for the toilet, I am impressed as they complete with all the basic necessities and also the water pressure is good and water is well balanced with hot and cold water.  The room is also complete with a coffee machine and basic needs of tea and coffee.

As for family who travels all the way from KL, we love the hotel as they do have ample parking space too. Asides from that, you can find a wide variety of food within walking distance such as PISA Corner Food Court which is just 5 minute walk from the hotel. You can also do café hopping around Bayan Baru Area and Bayan Lepas Area too.

Overall, it is indeed an impressive hotel to stay in as they are not just a hotel to cater for a few night sleep but the service is impressive too. The hotel would definitely be our next staycation place too as it is not too far away from town.
