Amaya Food Gallery @ Amari SPICE Penang

December 17, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

During our staycation in Amari Spice Penang, we visited their beautiful impressive café by the name of Amaya Food Gallery.

In here, one definitely pampered with the wide selection of East-meets-West culinary creations and Thai-infused selections draw inspiration from cuisines such as Penang, Malaysian, and Asian classics – all with a bright and refreshing Amari twist.

Caesar Salad

Nothing much to shout about, a simple greenies to go with our meals of the day

Pumpkin Soup

The Pumpkin Soup was flawlessly cooked, achieving the ideal balance of flavors and textures. The soup’s creamy blend was a treat for the senses, enveloping our taste buds with its velvety smoothness. The rich and comforting aroma of pumpkin filled the air, inviting us to savor each spoonful.

Mushroom Soup

As you take your first spoonful, the distinct aroma of mushrooms envelops your senses, promising a taste that is both familiar and enticing. The soup delights the palate with its subtle yet distinct flavors, showcasing the natural essence of the mushrooms. While the flavors are undeniably present, we understand that personal preferences vary when it comes to the thickness of mushroom soup. It is worth noting that the creaminess of the soup may not be to everyone’s liking. Some may prefer a thicker consistency that coats the spoon, providing a more substantial and indulgent mouthfeel.

Pad Thai

One dish that stood out during our dining experience was the Pad Thai. Infused with authentic Thai flavors, this classic dish was a must-try. The noodles were perfectly cooked, maintaining a satisfying chewiness that complemented the other ingredients.

What truly elevated the dish was the generous serving of succulent prawns on top. These plump and juicy prawns added a delightful seafood element, enhancing the overall taste and texture of the Pad Thai. Each bite was a harmonious blend of flavors, with the tangy tamarind sauce, the subtle sweetness of palm sugar, and the delicate crunch of bean sprouts and crushed peanuts.

Australian Certified Beef Rib Eye Steak

Prepare to indulge in a culinary delight with the Australian Certified Beef Rib Eye Steak. This exquisite dish showcases the epitome of quality and flavor. Cooked to perfection, the steak boasts a beautiful char on the outside, while maintaining a juicy and tender interior. With each bite, the succulent meat releases its rich flavors, leaving a lasting impression on the palate.

Accompanying the steak is a delightful array of grilled mushrooms. These earthy and smoky mushrooms provide a perfect complement to the robust flavors of the beef, creating a harmonious combination of tastes and textures.

Desserts : Chocolate Lava Cake

Indulge your sweet tooth with a decadent delight that will leave you craving for more – the Chocolate Lava Cake. This dessert is a true sensation, offering a heavenly combination of rich, velvety chocolate and a luscious molten center.

Overall, is a great experience dining here. The service is impressive and we love the food here.
