Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara is indeed one of the hotels which is worth the stay. We had our staycation in the awesome hotel bringing us a nice ambience and delicious food in one place. It stands its ground as one of the top luxury properties in the city and doesn’t just cater to the savvy business person but families too.
Located in Damansara, the hotel is indeed makes a great place to stay and it is located away from the hustle and bustle of KL City. Located just next to DC Mall, one can find conveniences as they are quite a number of unique eateries that you can hop too.
THE ROOM
Sofitel Kuala Lumpur comes with the lavishly designed, well-equipped with the modern amenities to ensure you a pleasant, and comfortable stay. With 5 types of room and suites available, one can enjoy their stay with the choice of Luxury Room, Luxury Club Floor Room, Junior Suite, Prestige Suite, and Opera Suite.
We head to our room and we checked in to their Luxury Room for this time. The Luxury Room comes with the 55 sqm room completes with the King Size Softitel MyBed which is simply comfortable. The room comes with the beautiful setup and I love how it is decorated.
And whats more is the room comes with the Nespresso Coffee Machine and tea making facilities too.
The room also complete with the 50 inch TV and it is a perfect entertainment for the kids too. The wifi here is good and there is no worries about you getting connected to the world out there.
Asides from that, we enjoyed the bathroom for sure. They comes with the huge bathtub and it is so nice to get ourselves soaked and relax in the bathtubs.
They are also complete with basic necessities and everything is perfect and awesome. We love the overall stay and ambience.
DINING
Kwee Zen
During our staycation, one can enjoy a few eateries around the hotel. Kwee Zen is one of our favourite all-day dining places where you can enjoy their wholesome morning breakfast to scrumptious dinner buffet.
There will be a theme dining every time and this time, we had the Thai Buffet where they add in with some Thai influence in the buffet. One can enjoy the wide choices of delights there from their main course, seafood on the ice, wide choices of drinks and desserts in this awesome All Day Dining Kwee Zen.
Wan Chun Ting
This is one of our favourite dining place too where it feature with loads of good food here- especially their Peking Duck. You can sample wide choices of delights and this time we enjoyed their “All-You-Can-Eat Dim Sum”.
One can enjoy the wide selection of dim sum from steam to fried and they are all awesomely delicious and a must to go for.
Facilities
If you are looking for a dip or some gym time, they have them too.
Asides from that, one can visit their SPA too for a good massage where this round we give it a skip.
Overall Experience
Overall, the staycation is marvelous and it is really an enjoyable staycation with family. Both my kids are having great time and snooze off the bed so fast as the bed is too comfort.
If you are looking for a nice staycation, Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara is the place to stay and yet highly convenient with the nearest MRT Pusat Bandar Damansara station just ~10 minutes away
