Family Staycation @ Lexis Suites Penang Hotel

October 23, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

During my trip to Penang earlier, we booked our hotel via AirAsia where we stayed at Lexis Suites Penang Hotel. The Lexis Suites Hotel is one of the hotel which is famed for their mini pool in your room.

Located at Teluk Kumbar, this luxurious seaside resort is exclusively designed by world-class, award-winning architects for your ultimate comfort. Flanked by the majestic Straits of Malacca and the quaint township of Teluk Kumbar, with an abundance of lush greenery, Lexis Suites Penang offers you an unimpeded panoramic view of the calm turquoise ocean, pastoral hills, and the southern coast of the historical Penang Island.

When we are checking in, it takes us more than 40 minutes to get thru from waiting for two people in the queue. Checking in is indeed a long wait for the process to go thru and we waited another 15 minutes plus to get our key cards. Overall, it nearly takes us 1 hour to go thru the whole process.

Well, the room is pretty worth the price we paid. With RM 500; we got our huge room to witness the beautiful view of the sea, a private mini pool, and also a bathtub and rain shower. Bath towels, bathrobes, clothes iron, hair dryer and basic toiletries are provided.

Lexis Suites is the one and only hotel in Penang to feature a private pool in each guestroom! Located at the balcony, the dipping pool is paired with a steam room for two. It is indeed pretty much a deal and we love dipping at the private mini pool with our kids.

The rooms are really comfortable with huge tv and all the basic amenities we need. The bed comes really comfortable too which we have a good sleep throughout the night.

Overall, the rooms and all is pretty good. Service is a bit disappointing as we need to wait quite a long to get our rooms sorted.

Overall Review

Overall, the room is good and cosy. With the price we payed, it is indeed worth for it as it comes with a nice bed, cosy ambience and a great view. If you are looking to venture around Bayan Lepas yes, this is a place as it is near the airport, and also the Penang bridge and Queensbay Mall.
