Thailand Participates in the World’s Largest Halal Exhibition at MIHAS 2022 from 7th – 10th September 2022

September 8, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

DITP Malaysia representing Thailand, is proud to participate in the MIHAS 2022to thrive in the Halal Thai trade and to contribute significantly to the global Halal Industry. MIHAS is a robust marketplace for both international and local players to seize business opportunities.

This year, Thailand Pavilion showcased more than 40 brands of Halal Thai products, both from food and non-food sectors. This is the 1st year that Thailand brought non-food Halal items to be exhibited in MIHAS.

What makes it special is that there is so much to explore and learn here and they are covering from modest fashion, arts and crafts, health and beauty, gifts, and home decor items.

The crowd applauded when our models dressed in the latest designer fashion brands took to the catwalk. The brands at the showcase include Mirah, SHU, Siri Dress House, SC Grand: Circular, De Quarr Community, and Gemio.

They also showcased the wide variety of Thai Food products that one can bring home. Some of them includes noodles, Thai Chili paste, coconut milk, ice creams, snacks, and more.

In this event, visitors not only experience some exciting activities such as product presentation and auction (for merit purposes), LIVE cooking shows by Thai celebrity chef, Chef Tosapol from Bangkok, and food tasting.

And this time. we get the chance to sample the cooking from the Celebrity Chef, Chef Tosapol which is absolutely delicious and it brings you back to Thailand. The Northern Thai Curry Noodles with Chicken is one of the best I had and it is served with egg noodles. The egg noodles are divinely good where it is not overly spicy and yet have the creaminess from the imported premium coconut milk. This is so good where I wanted by 2nd  bowl too.

Asides, one can also explore business opportunities within our booth “Thailand Pavilion”.

Do join them and explore the potential of Halal products at Thailand Pavilion in MIHAS from 7th–10th September 2022.
